This hotel was just about what we'd expected for £50 a night for a twim room. It did the job for a lads weekend but it's not somewhere to take the missus or the family because it's rife with drug dealers, pickpockets and prostitutes day and night!Cleanliness - Hotel reception was ok, rooms a bit grubby, bed covers clean on the top but don't throw the cover back because you might find someone elses belly button fluff and pubes in the bed.Service - 24/7 reception, pretty receptionist, really helpful, gave us a free travel plug, tourist directions, booked taxis and gave us an early morning call for the airport. Location - Perfect, superb location. Only 2mins walk from La Rambla. Value - Cheap and cheerful, bargain £50 a night for a twim room. Rooms - Very basic, two single beds, wardrobe and en suite bathroom. Room was bright with twin shutters to a balcony with a great view of the neighbours laundry and dead rabbit in a cage oh and the prostitutes. Sleep Quality - Slept like a baby after a dozen bottles of beer and a selection of cocktails

"Simple but cheap"
The rooms were clean, but small and with old furniture. The staff was very friendly and helpful.Only 2 minutes from Las Ramblas, the hotel is situated at one of the most 'famous' prostitution corners of Barcelona's Raval neighborhood. Given its specific location the hotel was quite a bit cheaper than other comparable hotels in Ciutat Vella. Fine with me!

"Man on the front desk very helpful and nice"
Pros: Man on the front desk very helpful and nice. cheap rooms you get what you pay for
Cons: We were in a tiny little room to start with which felt like a cell with a tiny window which looks at nothing and the shower head was broken and no water pressure and tiny bathroom but then moved to a bigger room with a bigger bathroom and a balcony which was perfect. so ensure to ask for a room with a balcony
"Bardzo blisko larambla , bardzo pomocna obsługa , blisko sklepy"
Pros: Bardzo blisko larambla , bardzo pomocna obsługa , blisko sklepy
Cons: Głośno w hotelu rano , słychać wszystko ( kanalizacje , głośne rozmowy sprzataczek na holu .. )

Pros: Hotel barbara was good value for money and the hotel staff were helpful and well informed.
Cons: It is located in a dodgy area. it is very close to la rambla which was convienient however, it is near a mariner bar with ladies plying their trade on the corner. also, it should be noted on the website that you have to pay extra to use the safe and pay a deposit to watch tv.

Pros: Staff are really friendly easy access to the harbor and cheap there's a good shop on the next road but its a mission to get past the constant diversions
Cons: Not a really good location due to the fact that the road its connected to is full of prostitutes that seem to love you if your male.breakfast could have done with a bit of a selection for 5 euros you get a tiny muffin and a croissant if you ask they will give you a slice of toast could of done with a bit more
Cons: One of their staff was very rude while attending us. she blamed me on my 'jetlag' when i don't understand what is she saying. the truth is stupid.

Pros: Very good value for price, clean rooms, nice area for young people to go out.
Cons: The area is not suitable for families with children or older travellers.
the spanish girl at the reception in the evening was incredibly rude and arrogant, we were not the only travellers complaining about her. but the rest of the staff are very efficient and friendly.

"Not sure there are any"
Pros: Not sure there are any
Cons: The room was very basic, more basic looking than the picture on the webiste. the room smelt very badly of cigarette smoke and the bed was very uncomfortable. i would not recommend this hotel to anyone. a hostel would be cleaner and cheaper
