 "A very enjoyable stay"
We stayed four nights at hotel Sixty-two in Barcelona on the last week of September. We chose this hotel because of the positive reviews posted on Trip Advisor and for its prime location. We were very happy on both aspects. We wrote to the hotel in advance requesting a room facing the Passeig de Gracia which we were able to get upon arrival. However, because of the full occupancy at the hotel, it was a room with two single beds pushed together - well, can't always have everything... The room was spacious and quiet (with soundproof doors). My only few gripes are - the room furnishings were a bit tired, but clean; the fridge didn't work so my take-away seafood lunch in the fridge went bad :-( I found out from the hotel front desk that they do not have kettle so you'll have to use the room's mini coffee machine to boil water, which wasn't very convenient. Also, it's been a while since I stayed at a hotel that charged for coffee and tea in room. Given the prestige and decadence of the hotel, I was very surprised. Finally, the Wifi connection in our room was really poor. We had to stand near the front door to our room in order to get decent enough signal to surf webpages / check emails.Aside from the little things mentioned which were more irritants, we really enjoyed our stay at Sixty-two. The hotel staff are helpful and pleasant. The hotel location is superb. The hotel property itself is decadent yet stylish. We'd be very happy to stay there again!

 "Worth every penny"
Stayed in Barcelona for a week and a half and absolutely loved it. The hotel is the best in the area in terms of location, service and cleansiness. The hotel is upscale yet not a fortune to stay in. All of the major shoppingand site seing is only a step awayand transportation to venture out and about for only 2 euro per person (bus) The hotel is located on passage de garcia which is the equivalent of the 5th ave of NYC. and extremely safe never feltunsafe at all. I recommend the hotel and is the best choice for ones stay in Barcelona. to top it all there is aAerobus you can take to go back to the airport for only 6 euro and runs every 15 minutes from only 2 blovks away from this hotel. Will stay here again and had a great experience.

 "perfect location"
The hotel is located on an excellent spot in the city of Barcelona. It is a nice, small hotel with very friendly personal. The bathroom is ok, but the toilet was not installed properly (loose). The bed was a bit too hard/ too view pockets in the matras (pot-hole). The room itself is designed perfectly, but the cleaning was bad: shelve was very dusty. Under the bed there was an empty bottle of water from the previous hotel guests when we arrived, but also when we left after three nights.nevertheless we had a pleasant stay, primarily because of the location and the design of the room and the hotel as a whole.

 "Staff very friendly and helpful"
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful. location perfect.
Cons: Bed edges were same colour as carpet and stuck out and we tended to hit our shins on these. as we entered the hotel, the ground floor had an unpleasant smell which was not present all the time, but was there quite often.
