I did not stay at the bertran but my son and five of his friends did and i must say the staff (especially jose carlos) were very helpful and kept me informed on my booking. i do appreciate such service and have decided when we are next in barcelona we will stay there too. they have - through default - put us on their "regular visitors" status! well done, anita hansenCarey

Helpful staff and very clean rooms.The swimming pool was much smaller than expected. the map directions were very poor. it was noisy in our room facing the street and from 6am when the garage below seemed to open.Anonymous

Very close to metro stations, supermarkets etc. rooms clean and spacious. swimming pool and roof top terrace- a wonderful place to relax before and after days out.Not clear on the website, but apartments for 4 people do not have a terrace or balcony. Anonymous

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. also there is a pool on the roof, which was great to relax near after a day of shopping / visiting sites. There did not appear to be many restaurants nearby so we needed to use the metro regularly. Ramsden

We had a lovely stay, central location, easy to get around the city, small but good pool which kept the kids happy. really helpful staff and good local facilities like cash machines, supermarket etc. the cleaners were really good and did a much more thorough job than at other hotels i've stayed in. would definately stay again!Anonymous

Excellent value for money hotel. 10 minute walk from 2 metro stations. lovely to have roof top pool. walking distance to park guell. helpful staff. clean rooms. supermarkets and food shops close by. internet available. again excellent value for money considering there is a pool. a really enjoyable stay.Anonymous
