Pros: Second stay. first time with my boyfriend - very romantic. second time with my teenage son - very impressed. in other words - i suites everyone. we had a top flor room overlooking la sagrada familia - could not be any better. staff war very helpful and kind. service was excellent. location superb. roof terrace with pool - close to heaven. breakfast was fantastic. in other words choose this hotel.

Pros: Lovely building and decor
Cons: Room too cold first night (18c and below zero outside) and heating system could not heat room up until next day. very poor for a "5*" hotel. service to help us with that was poor. quality of room ok, but definitely not 5* due to various defects and lack of facilities (dvd, kettle, drawers/hanging space) - disappointing. i would not recommend it.

Pros: Staff are fantastic, very attentive and helpful - superb. location is fab, well away from the mass tourist bit and a mere stroll to the casa mila and casa botll

Pros: The level of service was excellent and the staff was always helpful and professional. the hotel is located just on the fringe of the tourist and shopping areas so it is quiet and peaceful after a busy day. the rooftop terrace was nice for lunch, a swim or a drink after dinner and had a very nice view.

Pros: Casa fuster is a beautiful hotel in a great area in barcelona. you can walk everywhere. we had a lovely room with a balcony. the staff couldn't have been friendlier and more helpful. if i ever return to barcelona, i will definitely stay here again. a lovely 5 star hotel. well worth every penny!

Pros: A mordenista hotel so beautiful, with great location
Cons: Expensive (but probably due to the weak pound) and one room a little tatty, broken cabinet handle, marked walls, mould around bath. also minor problem with maids, kept forgetting to leave bath towels so need to request them. would have expected better from top hotel. poor swimming pool, size of two double beds, but fantastic view from rooftop

Pros: Everyone that worked at the hotel spoke great english! big bonus when looking for restraunts and other tourist spots. love it and look forward to going back there and we will stay at this same hotel for that reason!

Pros: Staff were extremely helpful on arrival and gave advice on things to do and see. sauna was a pleasure after a day's walking!

Pros: The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. the beds were extremely comfortable. on the november 1st one of their holy days all guests were treated to a tray of 4 handmade chocolates!
Cons: When we arrived because my credit card for unknown reason would not pre register i was asked to pay 1600 euros upfront and told that i would be reimbursed the 500+ euros charged extra at the end. the room we had was very small. there were no drawers, nowhere to store your luggage and the televsion was at the side of the bed. (there is room on the wall for it to be mounted). one of the chairs in the room had part of a leg missing as i discovered when i sat on it. there was no water provided. however, when i asked for the chair to be replaced and asked about the lack of water we were then provided with a new chair and water with chocolate pieces everyday there after. our biggeast disappointment was i had booked this especially for my husband's retirement and i did not expect it to be cheap. however, i must warn others that if they want to drink on the jazz evening(the band were good) a small beer(330mls) with a small glass of crisps was 16euros (£12!) and any cocktail 16 euros.

Pros: The staff were very helpful, the room was luxurious, the food was delicious and the cocktails very more-ish.
Cons: On arrival, we were sent up to the room only to find the cleaning staff still making it up.

Pros: This is an incredible hotel. a small luxury five star, if you're looking for an establishment that looks after all the details, this is the one. the reception staff were excellent, the bellboys were good, the room service was fantastic, the room wasn't massive but was wonderfully kitted out and very comfortable, the bathroom was spectacular, the roof terrace was lovely. because we decided to extend our stay we had to switch hotels (casa fuster was fully booked) to a good four star hotel and it was poor by comparison. if you're looking at a four star and are unsure whether to spend the additional £50-75 a night for this, i would say go for it. its the kind of hotel that you'll be remembering for years to come.
Cons: The only (very minor) downside about this hotel is that it is slightly out of the main tourist areas (las ramblas, gothic quarter etc). however it is one minute's walk from the metro and its only 2 stops into the heart of it, so its not really an issue. in fact it was quite nice to be able to get away from the noise and the bustle to the haven of peace and quiet that this hotel is.
