I just needed a place to sleep and shower during a bussiness trip. A few major problems during the 5 night stay : lots of smoking in this hotel (in the rooms) and in the reception /bar area ; poor ventilation and air conditioning such that the tiny rooms fill up with smoke. If you're on the street side, your windows face a noisy highway ; if you open the windows, you can smell the smog. On the other side of the buiding, you'll open your window to an interior garden, where they sit and smoke untill late at night. The receptionists are unreliable and speak very little English. The last day , before my trip to the airport, I asked for a wake up call . It came 20 minutes late. Not a great location either. In retrospcetive I should have spent 100 more for some decent though basic accomodation.

the room is clean.but, the air conditioner in our room not too cold. it hot at the day. coz the temperature at the outside is about 30. but its no really matter cos we spend all the day to traveling. from the nearest station metro we have to walk about 10 minutes. if you looking hotel for traveling in Barcelona with low prices this is one of.

Rooms are small, and walls are incredibly thin, you can here everything around, and if roommates are noisy, you not gonna sleep whole night. No water boiler and locker in the room, so if you want simply tea you should go somewhere.

Pros: We enjoyed the facility to access to the hotel and the cleanliness of our room
Cons: The breakfast prise is not included in the room price and make it to expensive.
the location of 3 persons room front of the motorway is unconfortable because of baby that should sleep after lunch.

Pros: The hotel in general and the room in particular were very clean, and security is also a priority. the staff was as helpful as they could be without speaking much english. although the hotel is far from the city center, the center is easy enough to get to by metro.
Cons: As others had warned, there is considerable noise from the highway next door, and the staff speaks only a little more english than i do spanish. the free internet was very slow, even with a cable connection.

Pros: We found the staff to be helpful and courteous.
Cons: The hotel is very close to a motorway, the traffic is noisy throughout the night. the location of the hotel is probably not the best if you are wanting to see barcelona. from leaving the hotel to getting into central barcelona it would probably take 30 minutes. having said that you are not paying barcelona prices for the hotel and the trains are very cheap. we would also mention that we requested a non-smoking room, but the room still smelt of cigarette smoke.

Cons: The hotel was next to the motorway and the room was very noisy. in the morning the sun shone on the windows which made them expand and make a terrible noise. if someone moved the furniture upstairs or next door it made so much noise that it would wake us up. the air-conditioning didn't work properly either. it was either on or off ; you couldn't turn it down. the staff didn't speak english (at the reception especially). the only good thing about this hotel was that it was very clean, however the towels were thin and very old. i wouldn't recommend it to anyone; it was the worst hotel i've ever stayed in. it made my stay in barcelona not enjoyable at all.
