The Hotel is located in the heart of the old town, on the border between the Barrio Gótoco and the Barrio del Borne. The hotel is just a few minutes away from the Cathedral of Barcelona, Santa Maria del Mar's church, the little and narrow streets from Barcelona, the roman walls and the oldest sites of the city. The hotel is also close to the popular Ramblas, the Paseo de Gracia and its modern buildings.
Nowadays del Borne has become in the most fashion and cosmopolitan Barcelona's neighbourhood. It has plenty of amazing shops, design bars and restaurants, also known for its fun night life. Plaza's Catalunya´s commercial area, Picasso Museum, MACBA, Ciutadella's Park and the Triumph Arch are also located in this area. You can visit the sea, the harbour, the beaches and fisherman's atmosphere that still remains in Barcelona.

Great hotel in a brilliant location, it's quiet but close to the station and within walking distance from the port /barceloneta beach area. room was modern, bed was large and comfy, whilst the free bottled water available in a fridge on each landing is a really nice touch. Anonymous

Warm welcome at reception. free bottled water/ use of fridge on every floor useful. Did not have breakfast buffet as 10 euros seemed a bit steep, but barcelona proved to be expensive so maybe should have!Anonymous

very convenient location with shops, museums, restaurants; a little long to walk to beach. free bottled water -- very convenient.
staff polite.Internet actually didn't work in our room.
when charging the room, the euro amount was converted to dollars at a high rate (1.46 vs 1.41 actual) -- i will have to see what actually got billed.Chambers

Excellent location and in good order. lovely balconies outside each window and nice having the plunge pool.Lift broke down whilst we were there and the directions from airport are poor. you cannot get a train to estacio de franca as suggested on website.Anonymous

I loved the rooftop terrace and the room was really cool. i really liked the lobby of the hotel. there was a really neat sketched map of barcelona in the lobby. i also loved the free bottled water on each floor.Burman

Excellent location in the old part of barcelona, friendly staff, nice, clean and spacious rooms. free mineral water to the guest - perfect, and a very good breakfast.Some noice from the street. it was not from traffic, but from party people on their way home. we were on the 2nd floor.Anonymous
