A pleasant hotel, centrally situated in a quiet pedestrian area. Friendly and helpful staff. If we ever return to Barcelona, we will certainly stay there again. Cons: the breakfast was expensive, so we ate elsewhere. We would have appreciated coffee and tea-making apparatus in the room. The beds were rather hard (some people obviously do not mind this, but I did!).

The beds are really not so soft...hard actually.The towels that I used according to the environment instructions were removed even if I tried to use them again..

I can't imagine a more perfect location in all of Barcelona! The hotel is in the plaza - across from the cathedral, in the Gothic district. Plenty of shops and great places to eat all within walking distance!! A short 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The staff at the hotel was very helpful and helped booked concert tickets, flamenco dancing show and tour bus tours for us. They even summoned a masseuse for us to help get rid of the aches and pains from traveling. I wish the bed was after and that we had an iron and a coffee maker in the room. Other than that - perfect!

Great location in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, facing on the large cathedral square, handy to the Ramblas. Nice French Balcony facing on the square or side street - relatively soundproof, clean rooms, good service - but very hard beds. Breakfast Buffet was expensive (18 euros), but room service more reasonable for a la carte and morning coffee.

Pros: This is an excellent hotel, with a great location just two blocks from las ramblas and placa catalunya. the hotel provides a very high level of service to it's guests, including acting as concierge to book tours, answer questions and even changing currency. this hotel is highly recommended.
