Hotel Condado Barcelona is easy to find, located on Carrer Aribau between Travessera de Gràcia and Avenida Diagonal, two of the city’s most well-known streets.
The Eixample is the modernist residential and commercial area which stems upwards and outwards from the Plaza Catalunya, its famous grid system of straight streets designed in the 1860s to accommodate the old city’s swelling population. Most of the apartments in the Eixample are within easy walking distance from Paseo de Gracia with its two wonderful modernist period buildings by Antoni Gaudi and other architects. The Eixample distric is very well connected, and from here you can easily walk or take buses or taxis to the Gothic Quarter and Las Ramblas for attractions such as the Picasso museum and the Cathedral.
How to reach the Hotel Condado?By bus, from Barcelona-El Prat International airport: Take the Aerobus outside the airport and get off at 'Plaça Catalunya'. Take the L3 line direction to ‘Canyelles’ station, and get off at ‘Diagonal’ metro stop. The hotel is within walking distance from this station. The Aerobus service normally runs every 15minutes. You can catch it from outside all 3 airport terminals.
By train, from Barcelona-El Prat International airport: Take the RENFE train R10 to ‘Passeig de Gràcia’ train station. Once here take the metro line L3 direction to ‘Canyelles’ station, and get off at ‘Diagonal’ metro stop. The hotel is within walking distance from this station.
From Sants train station: Take the metro line L3 towards 'Plaça Catalunya' and follow above indications.

Well located hotel which has recently been redecorated. excellent value for money.Avoid street facing hotels on friday and saturday as there is a very noisy night club opposite. despite double glazing the music and people arriving/departing could be easily heard and would wake even the heaviest sleepers. Great hotel, nice and clean and good sized rooms + good price - however see below for bad location/noiseLocated right across the road from 2 x 24 hour clubs which played incredibly loud base until around 6am on friday and saturday and sunday mornings... ruined the whole nice hotel experience. if you stay here make sure you book a room at the back of the hotel - not one that overlooks the streetAnonymous

Stayed in a double room at the hotel over a long weekend in late october. the room was nicely furnished & spotlessly clean. the communal areas of the hotel were also pleasant & well maintained. the staff at reception were extremely helpful & spoke excellent english. the free minibar on each floor (for water, diet coke & canned beer) was also a much used & appreciated part of the stay.Despite having specifically asked for a double bed during the booking process we were initialy given a room with two single beds pushed together. when we pointed this out we were given another room in which two single beds had been pushed together under the bedding. this was a lot better than the first room but not quite the double bed we'd asked for. this was a relatively minor point in what was otherwise a very pleasant stay.Anonymous
