As there were 11 lads on a stag do we weren't looking for an expensive & luxury hotel. Hotel Condal was more than what we needed. Given that the rooms were very clean & ideally located we all felt that we'd had more than good value for money.

Very simple, clean, great location. I had a room with the windows inside the building, so I really missed fresh air. I think hotel is great for few nights stay. Good value for money.

Location is perfect, rooms was clean and tidy.One down side was very noisy, we stayed for 6 nights and all has been sleepless.

The room is clean and nice with a small so called balcony. The hotel is very close to the Rambla - perfect! many nice bars are around. supermarkets around. In nighttime it is a bit loud, because many people passing by during a the night.

Pros: We found this hotel even though it is only 2 star in a very good position for getting about. the staff were very helpful and friendly.

Pros: Very well located, clean and of ok standard
Cons: The wifi was not good enough, i had to connect every 2 minutes, which is not satisfying at all and the reason for not recommening the hotel

Pros: Excellent location for the centre of the city.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities would be very useful in the room as there is no bar. wine glasses would also be appreciated

Pros: Service was pleasant, the room was spotless, beds comfortable. a no-frills hotel in a great location.
Cons: Small bathtub with shower outlet that wasn't attached to the wall.during the original booking the hotel charged us twice for the room.immediately after i pointed this out to them they credited us - but i still lost money because the currency exchange rate had changed.

Pros: The hotel is located nearby the rambla in the old part of the city. the hotel staff is helpful and the rooms a clean. hotel condal is a very good starting point for exploring barcelona.

Cons: The wallmount for the showerhead did not work and requests to hotel personnel did not change this. the room did not get cleaned two days in a row until hotel personnel was made aware of this. there was a lot of noise from the street until late in the night as it is situated right above a bar. the internet access was very slow and at times not working at all.

Pros: Excellent location, very clean and very helpful staff. for a cheap and cheerful hotel i would thoroughly recommend it.
Cons: Tea and coffee facilities in room would of been a bonus but eveything so central so it was not a problem!
