Waited over an hour following check in time for a room on 5th floor as opposed to 2nd floor which was available immediately. The bathroom is in need of up-dating; there was at least black mould on the base of the shower screen and around the bath sealant. Beds comfortable and our requests for extra pillows was immediately met and the problem with the function of the room safe was handled very promptly.

Pros: Location is perfect for being able to see much of baqrcelona. one block to metro, taxi stand in front and plenty within walking distance

Pros: Great location and room facilities fine
Cons: Prices from bar far too expensive and i was not told of a planned demonstration on oasseig de gracia which resulted in thousands of people filling the streets and made returning to the hotel almost impossible (allegedly 1 million catalans turned out)

Pros: The hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. rooms are not overly large but big enough with a large closet and good size bathroom. the location is excellent, away from the significant noise of la rambla but close enough to walk there. good access to the subway. the view of la pedrera from the rooftop lounge is very good since it is just one block from the hotel.
Cons: There is a significant daily charge, something like16 euros, for internet service which seems over the top considering the price and quality of the hotel. they offer 1 hour of access when you purchase something in the bar.
