The Cortes hotel is very central and within walking distance of many of Barcelona’s main attractions including the Gothic Cathedral which is 5 minutes away, and El Raval which is the area on the opposite side of Las Ramblas. At the hotel you’re close to Champion which is on Las Ramblas just opposite and El Corte Ingles which is on Placa Catalunya and Avenida Portal de L´Angel and is a huge department store.
How to reach the Hotel Cortes?From Barcelona-El Prat International airport, by bus: Take the Aerobus outside the airport and get off at Plaça Catalunya. The hotel is at walking distance from Plaça Catalunya. The Aerobus service normally runs every 15-minutes. You can catch it from outside all 3 airport terminals.
From Barcelona-El Prat International airport, by Train: Take the RENFE train R10 to "Passeig de Gràcia" train station. Once there take the green metro line L3 to Catanluya station. The hotel is at walking distance from the station.

The location is excellent and if you prefer to walk in baecelona and not stay in the hotel, then it is perfect, because room is really small but for sleeping good enough.Sapp
