Street noise as a result of lack of pressure on window seals.

Apart from the negative answer all other staff were helpful. hotel was clean and very close to the centre.The initial desk clerk was quick rude and unhelpful upon checking in. the safe in the room didn't exist as it was "broken" and he was uninterested in sorting out an alternative. when asked if we could leave our passports in the hotel safe (which is listed) he simply stuffed into our room cubby-hole which was worrying.alderson

Close to centre,very helpful staff10euro far too much for breakfest, should be incl in present hotel rate especially having supermarket 20m away, water in bathroom too cold for shower no respond from complaint,too dark room,noisy,fungus growth on bdms wall,no fridge facility at all!!!Anonymous

Excellent location in a nice part of the city - an easy 15 minutes walk from plaça de catalunya. plenty of places on the way to get breakfast. the room was perfect for us, clean and comfy. there's a vending machine in the lobby for drinks and snacks and the reception staff were all very helpful. would definitely recommend. Our room was on the corner at a crossroads, so there was some traffic noise, but then again we were in a city so it was to be expected.Anonymous

Staff was incredibly helpful. we arrived a day early and they found a room for us so that we could stay all our nights in the same room.Location, as already pointed out in other reviews, is a little out of the way. about a 15 min walk to placa de catalunya.Anonymous

The hotel is ideally situated, not far from the centre, and is a good option when one is attending a conference in fira/ palace of congresses in barcelona, which was my case. it is walking distance. easy to reach by metro and near a bus stop for the aerobus to the airport. plus the staff is friendly and professional and the hotel is clean.Ony negative comment on my part: the walls are thin and the rooms are close to one another, so that you can hear your neighbour's whereabouts pretty well.Steven Roberts

Clean rooms, not big. great location, a couple of minutes walk to the tube station.Even though the temperature was in the 20's the hotel heating was on so the rooms were too hot, and especially paying 250 euros for the saturday night i would have expected better. the staff didn't seem to care about the fact we asked if it could be turned down.Anonymous

Very nice looking rooms, extremely clean. about 1 minute from the the metro, very handy! supermarket just round the corner that makes delicious fresh baguettes and pastries for the mornings.No mini-bar! i like using it to cool pre evening wine however ask the staff and they will put it in the fridge. aircon and pipes were a little noisey but it didn't spoil my visit.
