Very good hotel and very pleasant staff. Not far from the Plaza de España (10 to 15min walk). The Plaza de Cataluña however is more within a 25min walk. The subway is within 5min and can offer you great opportunities to discover Barcelona.The room is very nice. However due to the building, we had to keep the curtains put if we did not want the other window (10m ahead) to see us.The breakfast is not as good as expected but is decent for a 8.5€ fare.The parking is within 2min walk and costs 18.5€ a day. Be careful of the size of your car as you can strugle to enter and leave the parking (space was only of few cm on both sides of the lateral mirrors of my Focus)ANyway very good hotel!

two of the three rooms were very, very small- for two adults little space.The bathroom was ok. And if you looked out the window you could see only a wall- (courtyard of the hotel) no fresh air.The third room was large, with a bed-sofa in the entrance, large bedroom and bathroom. Also at the 1.Floor without a fresh air...only a wall.But it was very clean an the staff were very frendly. At the reception we could not pay by credit card only cash!

Pleasant and clean hotel with friendly staff. the location is a good 20 minute walk to the centre but only 5 minutes from the metro.There are a few great restaurants a 5 minute walk from the hotel so ask the staff.Would probably stay closer to the centre next time but this hotel was perfectly good and in a quiet and safe area.

Great location and central....the hotel was only a 2-3 min walk from the Metro Poble Sec. La Rambles is a 15 min walk away or 2 stops on Metro. Room was fine....the air conditioning was much needed in August...the only down side was the constant slamming of doors from inconsiderate guests late at night.I would recommend this hotel and will use it again.Don't forget to request a room with a window.

The hotel was clean and the room was sufficiently spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is not central but still within a reasonable walking distance to La Rambla and the marina (20 mins). The bed covers however should be cleaned or replaced. The beds were very comfortable. The room did not have any facilities like tea/coffee machine or iron but that was ok. In all the hotel is good value and I would recommend it

Pros: Clean hotel with friendly & helpful staff on the desk.close to the plaza espana, near to bus routes, tour bus & taxis.no shortage of places to eat & drink.
Cons: Room was a bit on the small size, but had everything you would need for a short stay.i would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pros: The staff is very friendly 24/7. at the entrance of the hotel there are two pcs with internet connection with free access for the customers of the hotel.

Pros: Desk staff were consistently helpful and spoke fairly good english, which we appreciated.
Cons: Breakfast was not worth the money. we declined after one try. initial room assigned was miniscule. second room was a little better. internet access with iphone was continually problematic but ok with palm pri.

Pros: Staff were very friendly and accomodating. location is excellent - 15 minutes walk to la rambla or 2 minutes to nearest metro station.
Cons: Make sure you get one of the rooms with a street view. rooms looking over the air vents are very dark and unpleasant.
