Very close to metro station and not too noisy because it's not right in the centre of city. staff are very helpful and friendly.
Hotel staff recomended some restaurants to us and booked for our dinner. however, we didn't go eventually because there was one other restaurant next door looks much better. then when we got back to hotel two different staff asked us about whether we went to the restaurant not because they cared about our dinner, but because their commission from the restaurant. it makes me very disappointed. The staff were friendly. and easy to talk to, althought not always as helpful as would like they did manage to give an alternitive. one member of staff was very helpful in telling us where to catch the bus back to the airport.The breakfast has mush to be desired. although it is well spread. it is not great quality. it appears there chef does not know how to make scrambled egg. stick to the continental options. still not worth the £11 extra per person per day. find it else where.
although it very nice to have fresh towles it iritates me when a hotel makes a point about detergent and saving the planet and does not follow its own policy when i do everything they ask.Anonymous

The staff are extremely helpful and were always looking out for me because i was travelling on my own as a female.that was really nice.The beds were ridiculously hard! they were uncomfortable and small.not good if your tall like me. not impressed considering how expenisive the hotel is.Cooke

A great hotel in a good location. the hotel was comfortable, clean and an easy walk (5 minutes) to and from the placa de catalunya (where you can get the aerobus to and from the airport - this i recommend). staff were friendly and helpful. i'd recommend this to all but if you're lookin for a lavish hotel (honeymooners/romantics) this would probably not suit as it is a comfortable but basic hotel. overall, i had an enjoyable stay at the hotel gran ronda.No complaintsAnonymous

The hotel was very clean, friendly staff (apart from the guy on the night shift) and very well priced. The only slight down side was that as 14 males we booked 7 twin rooms but they all only had double beds in them.Anonymous

The staff is very nice and helpful.
the hotel is centrally located; its only a few minutes walking distance from las ramblas.
they provide a safe box at no extra charge and fresh towels everyday.This hotel is rated 3 stars but i would only give it 2 stars for the following reasons:
the walls are very thin and so its pretty noisy.
the air conditioner is not strong and it was very hot in the room.
the washroom has a damp odor (like the smell of sewers).
internet service was free but not working the whole week that we were there. search engine main page was as far as you can go, beyond that, you always ended up on the service providers main page. although the problem was addressed, it was never fixed.

We enjoyed our stay in hotel gran ronda, staff were very helpful and always friendly. our room was tidied and cleaned everyday. the hotel had an internet service for customers which proved extremely helpful to us.As rooms are quite small, and the hotel has wooden floors throughout, it was very apparent when other guests or staff walked past the room. unfortunately there was a sewerage smell, possibly coming from the floor vent in the bathroom that was quite unpleasant.Anonymous

Hotel staff was extremely helpful with providing information regarding activities, restaurants, etc. in the area. one of the hotel staff even walked us to the train station to show us how to catch the train to the airport.Anonymous
