How to reach the Hotel Jazz?By bus, from Barcelona-El Prat International airport: Take the Aerobus at the airport and get off in Plaça Universitat. Find Pelai Street and the Jazz Hotel on the left side.
By car, from Barcelona-El Prat International airport: Take motorway C-32b in direction of Barcelona. Take the turn-off “Barcelona-Girona-Lleida-Tarragona-Gran Via-Ciutat Vella”. Drive into the city by an underpass in Plaza España. Once out of it move into the right hand lane. Drive on to Balmes Street and turn right and immediately right again in Ronda Universidad. Take the left side lane. The Jazz hotel is on the left and it has a little street where you can place the car while you check in.
By taxi, from Barcelona-El Prat International airport: Take a taxi in the stand at the airport. The price would be around 20-25 euros depending on the traffic and the pieces of luggage.
By car, from France – Girona airport: Take motorway AP-18 and drive into Barcelona along Avenida Meridiana. Drive along Arago Street until Balmes Street and turn left. Then turn right to Ronda Universidad.

We went to barcelona for city break.. hotel was excellent value for money..bedrooms spotless.. hotel lobby clean and receptiontist very friendly.our room was ready on time..and hotel in excellent location for walking and trainsThe only downside to hotel was no coffee or tea making facilities.management should consider this..Anonymous

Pleasant staff, large room and bathroom, very clean, everyday clean bedlinen, close to underground station, shops and restaurantsWhen i booked the hotel for 6 people for 4 nights back in march, i was quoted price of £1089.12, my credit card number was given, however the money was not taken. we had to pay after the stay straight to the hotel, however the price went up to £1219.80. i think that this is not right and that you are misleading the customers. if i knew that the price would be so high, i would have booked a different hotel. this was not also very fair on my friends that i went with as they had to pay all this extra money. the receptionist said that this is due o currency exchange, but i think that that is not possible, as the increase was too high. as a customer, i am not at all happy having such experience (this happen to me for the first time as i booked the hotel for the first time with easytobook.com. i think that i return to my usual website i used to book hotel before.

Wonderful rooftop pool and cleanliness of roomsNo sun umbrellas around the pool when temperature over 30 degrees. we stayed at the hotel in oct 2007 and there were sun umbrellas then. also i was locked out from the rooftop pool at 9.55 hrs when it was officially open at 10.00 and it was very hot inside the hotel. staff behind the reception helpful but male staff just standing in reception, watching you struggle with your suitcases looked very miserable and did not offer to assist in any way. liggins
