Good location for access to all the sties. The hotel staff were efficient and friendly who spoke good English. The hotel it's self gives you what you pay for. Breakfast has a good selection. I would go back as it was value fr money and location.

The metro station Liceu is acrooss the street, also a walking distance Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya, Corte Ingles and the maremagnum area. The reception area was amazing, very nice people.

Everything was perfect!!! If i have to complain: the aircondition was noisy and the window was almost blocked. The breakfast was simple without fresh fruit and only toast like bread.

This hotel in pefect location, just off the Rambles. The reception staff very friendly and extremely helpful, The room was spotlessly clean. My husband and I went for three days and this hotel was perfect for what we needed, We would certainly use this hotel again.

Really great location, just few meters from La Rambla and narrow streets of the historical centre. Very friendly staff. However, the room was extremely small, the door could even not be fully open because of the bed; night lamps interfered with the place for pillows on the bed. Also, the room was without a daily light, in fact - it only had a small window to the well. The room was dark and air was heavy, difficult to breath. Any move while lying on the bed badly shakes your partner next to you. One night, water did not flow into the toilet tank and wi-fi was quite difficult to use - you sometimes had to try again and again for half an hour to establish a working connection.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moderno. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Excellent choice of breakfast foods. Very convenient for seeing the sights of the city and for good choice of restaurants, close to Las Ramblas.

Renovated hotel in the historic center. Wonderful breakfasts. Availability of computers with internet access. Excellent staff, speaking English. The possibility of obtaining any help. The seven-minute walk from the statue of Columbus, the Gothic Quarter and Plaza Catalunya.

Cons: On our 3rd to 5th nights, the air conditioning became hot because according to the staff, they were already adjusted to winter time. this i did not quite understand.

Pros: Alex and girls on front desk were fantastic - very helpful and polite. faultless.
