Ideal location as just off the plaza espana with easy access to bus and metro routes. lots of local bars and cafe's to choose from on every street corner. staff were very helpful and the rooms were exactly as stated on the web site. small rooftop pool but ideal if you just want to relax for an hour after hours of sightseeing. Located close to public transportation (less than 200m from metro station, aerobus and bus stop), major attractions (montjuic, poble espanyol, fonta majica, mnac etc)clean rooms and good breakfast. excellent value for money (50 euro for a double room with breakfast)and free wi-fi!Soerensen

We met a very friendly staff, clean room and our stay was really "value for money". hotel located close to the "music colour" fontain. breakfast included and it was fine. small pool on the roaf - a good place to relax after a walk in the city easy to find and close to the metro.Lyren

I found the 'hotel onix fira' an excellent hotel. it was situated close to the subway and many of the sites of barcelona. all the staff were friendly and helpful. my room was clean and each day cleaned to a high standard. whilst i didn't use many of the facilities at the hotel those i did use were very good. i would recommend this hotel to honeymooners, mature travellers, couples, business and solo travellers to stay in.Only the building site opposite the hotelAnonymous

The location of the hotel was ideal for travellers to get to different attractions.The hotel, did not have any coffee or tea making facilities in the room, i stay in hotels all over the world and there are always facilities, also as there is no coffee/tea facilities i went down to the coffee lounge to get a drink and this was also shut, which isn't very good as it is the start of the season. we were not informed that building work was taking place right out side the hotel, a lot of the time when we walked back to the hotel the check in staff were outside smoking.Mrs G Annand
