How to reach the Hotel Pulitzer?By train: There is a direct train from Terminal A at the airport straight to the city centre. The trains run every 30 minutes and the journey takes about 20 minutes. The nearest station is Plaza Catalunya with an exit leading to the front door of the hotel.
By airport bus: A blue bus, called “Aerobús”, runs a shuttle service from the airport to the city centre. The buses leave every 15 minutes and the journey takes about 35 minutes. The nearest bus stop is in Plaza Catalunya.
By taxi: Taxis are available throughout the day at all the terminals, the journey takes about 30-35 minutes and costs about 30 euros.
If you arrive in Barcelona from the airport in Gerona on the Costa Brava
By bus: from Gerona airport to the Estación del Norte in Barcelona. From there you can take a taxi or Line 1 on the underground as far as the Plaza de Catalunya station.

The staff at the front desk and bar and in housecleaning were professional, friendly and helpful. the location is excellent, especially for first-time visitors to barcelona. The rooftop bar was closed in october even though the weather was fine. it would be helpful if the hotel had some basic fitness equipment because the outside facility to which guests have access is not that close.

Location couldn't be better. staff friendly and helpful. room service very good. roof terrace bar a wonderful bonus.One of the main reasons for selecting this hotel was for its roof terrace bar. however it closed for the season on 1 october. this did not affect us but i'm sure some guests would be disappointed as it was not advertised.Role

The hotel manager, jose sanchez went out of his way to make our stay at the hotel special as we were celebrating a 25th wedding anniversary. he quickly responded to all emailed questions prior to our arrival, provided helpful advice for our planning and even had a bottle of champagne sent to our room on the day of our anniversary! the hotel pulitzer is situated in a very convenient location near placa catalunya and many metro stops. it is also nearby but not too close to the craziness of las rambla. we found the housekeeping staff and cleanliness of our room to be excellent; probably the best of any hotel experience we have had through the years. this was important to me. also, the beds were firm and pretty comfortable. i also want to mention that the roof top terrace was a wonderful place to sit and relax in the evening with a drink and music playing. one afternoon, we watched one of the la merce parades from the terrace and had a perfect view. would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!Anonymous

A clean hotel with good service in a handy location for the sights (two minute walk to la rambla)The breakfast was a bit expensive (15 euro per person). you can get a perfectly acceptable breakfast at the local. restaurants.

The pulitzer is a beautiful hotel. the room was small, but fairly priced and clean and conveniently located to la rambla and public transportation.Front desk staff was sometimes friendly, sometimes very unfriendly. i stood in front of a fellow at the front desk who refused to look up from the computer to acknowledge my presence; very rude! also, hotel restaurant's hours not regular and not convenient.Greene

The staff very very helpful and accommodating even to the point of providing us with detailed guideof barcelona when we arrived.When we were checked into our room we were given a room with two single beds adjoined together to make a double... after making a complaint we were moved to a double bed room the following night of our stay. jones
