 "The value for the area and location was excellent"
Pros: The value for the area and location was excellent. clean room, great service by cleaning/breakfast staff. good breakfast.
Cons: Staff was not very knowledgeable on area places to eat, only one tapas place to recommend, don't expect concierge level, but some knowledge at least. locked front door at all times annoying. no view....a wall. could not open window due to area noise.

Pros: Late night staff friendly and helpful..good security..housekeeping was extremely friendly next to the intial check-in staff and helpful and during my depature morning, a cab was quickly called for the airport.
Cons: Initial room wasn't clean, had to return for another room and found it lacking besides it having been serviced. initial hotel staff not terribly friendly but did his 'job'. location was close to the metro but a bit out of the way from la rambla..luckily it was a holiday so the metro was avail 24hrs. ..location off the beaten path but found my way, by asking friendly locals..room not quite what the pictures displayed but clean.
