It is on Carrer Gravina, a side street that branches off the shopping street Pelai and winds in towards the Raval, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods. It is walking distance from famous landmarks such as Plaça Catalunya and La Rambla as well as museums such as the MACBA.
El Raval is a historic, cosmopolitan and traditionally poor neighborhood to the west of the Ramblas. Due to its prime central location and the city’s transformation over the past decade. The Raval is a 5-minute walk from the Ramblas, the Old Port and Montjuic Mountain, which is home to the Olympic stadium and exotic botanical gardens.
How to reach the Hotel Reding?By Metro, Underground: In Plaza Universidad, around the corner from the hotel, there is an underground station, where you can take lines 1 or 2, which connect you with whole city. The underground is open from 5 am to midnight ,Sunday to Thursday until 2.00 am, Friday, Saturday and even in festivals and public holidays.
By Bus: All buses pass through Plaza Catalunya, 5-minutes from the hotel on foot. Buses run from 6 am to 11 pm and a single journey costs 1.15 Euros. Guests can also buy a T-10 card which gives you 10 journeys for 6.65 Euros.
Tourist Bus: This is a good way to get to know Barcelona, because it passes all the main sight -seeing points. With one ticket you can get on and off where and when you want. The ticket can be bought on the bus. It leaves from Plaza Catalunya. Adults price is €18 1 day, €22 2 days. Children €11 and €14.

Late night staff friendly and helpful..good security..housekeeping was extremely friendly next to the intial check-in staff and helpful and during my depature morning, a cab was quickly called for the airport.Initial room wasn't clean, had to return for another room and found it lacking besides it having been serviced. initial hotel staff not terribly friendly but did his 'job'. location was close to the metro but a bit out of the way from la rambla..luckily it was a holiday so the metro was avail 24hrs. ..location off the beaten path but found my way, by asking friendly locals..room not quite what the pictures displayed but clean.Taylor

Excellent location, good english spoken and pleased to offer information about the city. comfortable room if a bit on the small size.Beds were firm, only one towel left on second day had to pay to have tea and coffee in the room after the 1st day-which seemed a little 'penny pinching'.Anonymous
