Catalonia Sabadell near Barcelona    

Pros: The staff were excelent, was a really quite place but there wasnt anything really to see
Cons: We chose a poor location since it was too far from barcelona city and the taxi fares were 42 euros for one way

Pros: The hotel is imaculatly clean and quiet.
Cons: Sabadell is nowhere near barcelona. it cost me 50 euros to get there. there is nothing to see in sabadell. boring!

Cons: Hotel did not know about our boking, i was in embarassing situation, they kept us standing for 40 mnts, chkd every thing ,did not find any clue about our booking. i had copy of confirmation but they were not ready to accept that.ultimately i gave them the surety that if in the morning i will call u and if some thing goes wrong , i will pay full charges.also it never looked that this hotel is 4 star, even its bath room door would not closed, on our stay even they did not bother to activate the tv. i am staying in hotel citadine, toulouse for last 2 months and it is far better than this hotel although citadine is 3 star hotel. either some thing was wrong with yr service or with them as they did not receive booking info.

Pros: Courteous and polite staff. clean rooms and good basic facilities.
Cons: It was further from the city of barcelona than i realised although train services were good and efficient.

Cons: We were told that we could only stsy for 1 night due to over booking. that worried us because we only had 2 days in barcelona and didn't want to spend a day looking for another hotel where they say its fully booked everywhere else. after making a complaint, they said its ok. what was the problem in a first place!?

Pros: Definitely the wrong info given on the website, which stated the hotel was on the placa catalunya in barcelona, had 3 restaurants and was a short walk from all the amenities of barcelona. in fact, after a late and delayed flight, we were taken by taxi, at great expense, (70 euros)to a district well away from barcelona. this cost was also incurred the next day when we returned to barcelona. we had been told it was a short taxi ride away, costing about 15-20 euros.the hotel staff at sabadell however were wonderfully helpful and booked another hotel for us in their group for the following day, near the centre of barcelona, as we feared we would not be able to find suitable accommodation so close to easter. they provided us with an excellent supper, even though their restaurant had closed a long time before and generally looked after us very well. but this doesn't excuse the fact that we were very misled by the location. i am due to have hip surgery within the next few weeks and it was essential that we stayed close to all town amenities. i suggest this website is corrected as soon as possible to prevent other travellers suffering the same costs and inconvenience.
