Pros: From our arrival to our departue all members of the staff were very courteous and helpful.we were treated as more than friends or customers,we were treated as family.we were impressed by the excellent service,especially from pablo,sandra,and luciano from the "front desk staff" and from doña antonia,our "room attendant".if we were to return to barcelona we would more than likely return to the silken diagonal.

Pros: It was a really modern hotel. the staff were friendly. the room and the whole hotel was immaculate. the bar and pool on the roof were a lovely touch, the pool was lovely and quiet in the morning!!

Pros: The staff were very helpful. the hotel was very clean and quiet. rooftop bar was very relaxed. good location and outstanding value for money.
Cons: Only small downside was the absence of a gym. if the hotel had one i would have used it. however, this is only a very minor downside.

Pros: Just 4 stops away from the tourist down town core made it a nice quiet hotel with a short metro ride to the attractions.

also with the glories mall across the street we had everything we could need for the trip.
Cons: Wish they had a kettle in the room.
