Hotel Silver Barcelona Location (Map)
The Hotel Silver is located in the heart of Gracia, a popular Barcelona's neighbourhood next to Via Augusta, an important street that arrives until Diagonal avenue.
Moreover, in the corner of the hotel street there is a famous Gaudi's building: Casa Vicenç. On the other hand, the building is also surrounded by shops, bars, lively streets, restaurants, cinemas, supermarkets, etc.
The hotel is just a few yards from the main business and shopping areas (Av Diagonal, Paseo de Gracia, Via Augusta). It is also handy for all public transport (Metro, Bus, Railway) for fast travel to anywhere in the city, including the trade fair. It is right next to the metro station of Fontana (L-3 line) which will take you to the central Plaza Catalunya in less than 10 minutes.

By car:
The aparthotel is easy to reach from El Prat airport; just take Ronda de Dalt and exit at Plaça Lesseps in Barcelona city. There, continue until the crossing between Diagonal avenue and Passeig de Gracia. Then take Gran de Gracia avenue and continue up until the Fontana underground station. There you will find a street on the left called Bretón de los Herreros, where the hotel is located.
By train:
There is a train from El Prat airport that arrives in 20 minutes to the main Barcelona railway stations (Sants and Plaça Catalunya). From these railway stations, visitors can take line 3 until the Fontana underground stop. The aparthotel is near there, in a two minutes walking distance.
By bus:
There is a direct bus line from El Prat airport that arrives in 30 minutes to Plaça Catalunya. Then take underground line 3 until the Fontana stop.
By ship:
The Barcelona harbour is near the Drassanes stop, visitors must take the underground and get off at the Fontana stop.

Very pleased with the room and the facilities overall. nice bathroom, kitchenette great, safe, cd player etc. now offer free use of computer with internet access in the main reception. Disappointed that my window looked out onto a narrow central "well". i was pleased i was out all day!27 Apr 08

Although basic, we had everything we needed. we only stayed one night before a flight to the uk, but we needed a shower, a comfortable sleep and on top of that coffee etc was left for us! i will definitely book again!
