the first thing we noticed once entered the room was a terrible smell as is the toilet wasn't cleaned for weeks. this smell vaniced after opening the window. Opening the window let the Barcelona streetsounds entering the room.The service of the staff however is good and friendly.Conclusion: when you are a good sleeper, this hotel is ok. Otherwise, look for a hotel were it is more quiet.

Pros: El hotel era bastante bueno en relacion a precio-calidad. era muy limpio, estaba completamente equipado, teni calefaccion que podias regular a tu gusto, habia un supermerado economico a la vuelta de la esquina, la locomocion te dejaba en frente del hotel y la atencion del staff era muy amable, muy atentos, y por sobre todo cuando pedias ayuda o tenias alguna pregunta que hacer ellos no dudaban en ayudar! un muy buen hotel! lo recomiendo de todas maneras!!!
Cons: No esta centrado, por lo que hay que tomar bastantes locomociones, sin embargo al comprar un boleto t-10 puedes realizar transbordos hasta de 1 hora con cuarto de minutos con pago cero. asi es que no era tanto el inconveniente

Cons: The room was extremely basic, no additional drawers in the room, only shelves within the wardrobe. no tea/coffee facilities, pretty poor really as we didn't arrive until late at night, and couldn't make a hot drink.
no mirror in the bedroom and no additional plugs. the only plug available in the bedroom was used for the tv and the mini bar fridge.
i thought the hotel rate of 75 euro's a night excessive bearing in mind that the hotel was a long way away from the centre of barecelona. we found the metro, but that was a good 12 minute walk away. i also thought 7.75 euro's per person for a cold breakfast per person very expensive, in fact i hadn't realised that b reakfast was not included in the daily rate, and no one asked me if i waqnted to pay or not for breakfast, so my daughter and i were having breakfast each morning without realising that we had to pay at the end of our stay. i wasn't asked to sign anything to say that we had breaskfast.
if i had realised that we had to pay 15.50 euro's for the two of us, i would have made alternative arrangements, i do realise that this is my fault for not spotting this in the small print, but i also think the hotel should have made us aware, that we hadn't booked to have breakfast, and they should have asked us to sign each morning instead of just asking which room we were in.
i actually sourced other hotels during my stay, and we could have stayed in the centre of barcelona,
in a much better hotel with breakfast included for not much than the cost of the hotel travessera.

Pros: Although the hotel is not in central barcelona it was well connected with a great bus service and was within walking distance of the metro.the staff were always very helpful and gave us good advice when we needed to find our way round.the hotel also did a really good buffet continental breakfast.

Pros: Room clean, bedding well worn but clean,bathroom very clean, good continental breakfast selection, 24 bus into centre stops right outside, 1.35 euros to centre, metro close. inexpensive accomodation that served a purpose.

Pros: On arrival we were upgraded to an apartment, very spacious for our family of 4 as a separate bedroom and in the lounge a flip out sofa with 2 separate single beds, so was great for the kids. had a washing machine and small kitchenette as well. not far from the city centre, too far to walk but bus 24 right outside the door to take you to the city. would recommend and would stay again if we went to barcelona.
