 "Great 'out of town' hotel"
Attica 21 is 6 metro stops from the centre of Barcelona (with 1 change), which takes approx 20 mins on the cleanest metro system I have come across! The hotel is definitely 4* and the breakfasts were lovely.

 "Pleasant stay"
A pleasant family short break following a med cruise. Only a 5 min walk away from the nearest Metro Station and 10 minute walk to the beach. The hop off on bus stop only 5 mins walk away too. Rooms very specious and clean, only drawback was the air con in the room wasnt that good and there were no face cloths in the bathrooms. More sunbeds needed around the pool too. The photo of the pool on the hotel website looks a lot bigger than it really is. The staff were very helpful with local information and advice. The location of the hotel was nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The commercial centre is only a 10-15min walk away where's lots of shops and a few restaurants and Port Olympic only a 10 -min taxi ride away.

Cons: The first room we were given had not been cleaned. the en-suite was a mess. the nexd room was excellent.

Pros: Reception staff spoke good english. knowledgeable and helpful on places of interest. explained with city map. clean and quiet surrounding. near to the beach and supermarket.
Cons: Hotel does not provide kettle to boil hot water. provide tea bag or instant coffee during cold winter season.

 "I spent one week with my two teenage daughters at hotel attica21 barcelona..."
Pros: I spent one week with my two teenage daughters at hotel attica21 barcelona and we all three enjoyed the hotel, its surroundings (beach and shopping) and easy accsess to the city by metro or bus. the hotel is situated in a quiet corner of barcelona which was perfect for us (no traffic, bars or night clubs distrubing during night hours). very easy to travel downtown barcelona for sightseeing, shopping, dining and so on.
Cons: We decided not to join the hotel breakfast for eur 12 for each person. a couple of cafès close to the hotel serve continental breakfast for eur 3,50 or an extended breakfast for eur 6,00.

Pros: The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly.
Cons: The wardrobe had only six hangers and as we were there for 7 days we had to hang 3 to 4 items on each hanger. we were given a breakfast on our first morning as the air conditioning was broken in our room. the breakfast could have been alot better and i certainly wouldn't pay for it.

Pros: Very close to the beach and metro, helpful staff, nice quiet rooms, overall i had a great experience there. we stayed here for our honeymoon and they sent a basket of fruit up to our room - they understand customer service, which is not always a popular value in spain. strong recommend.
