Located one block from Plaza Catalunya, Inglaterra Barcelona is a quiet boutique-style hotel housed in a six storey building with captivating wrought iron balconies. It is situated two blocks from Las Ramblas and the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art and 250 meters from the Gothic Quarter.
The hotel’s 55 air conditioned guestrooms are light and uncluttered, and decorated in beige with floor to ceiling drapes and light wood furnishings. Large wooden headboards are inlayed with white panels displaying Japanese characters. Rooms vary in shape and size but all have cable TV with pay movies, dial-up Internet access (for a surcharge) and air conditioning. The gray marble bathrooms feature handheld showers, hair dryers and magnifying mirrors all for added comfort to you.

The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art is only a five-minute walk away down the side streets by the hotel; reception staff can provide simple directions. The Inglaterra is located one block from Plaza Catalunya, two blocks from Las Ramblas and 250 meters from the Gothic Quarter.
The nearest metro stations are Universitat and Plaza Catalunya. El Triangle shopping center is opposite to the hotel.
How to reach the hotel?- by bus: take the airport shuttle Aerobus to Plaza Catalunya. It is an easy walk from there to the hotel as it is based just one block away.
- by train: take the RENFE train to Sants station. Once there interchange to the underground's L3 line towards Canyelles and get off in Plaza Catalunya.

When we arrived the front desk gave us the option to upgrade to a suite for only 10euros more. it was a bargain and well worth it. what a beautiful room! breakfast was great.The suite we stayed in was on the first floor so we could hear noises from the street. and at 5am someone was shouting in the lobby downstairs and we could hear them.LOMBARDI LAURA
