Pros: Nice clean rooms,basic but all necesities
Cons: Robbed right outside door on first evening,but is commonplace in barcelona,rooftop terrace not as portrayed,just plastic pool type furniture and no bar facilitiy

Pros: Friendly, helpful staff; very accommodating. good location, 2 blocks off la rambla within easy walking distance to hoho bus & city buses. free internet was very helpful & appreciated.
Cons: There was no air conditioning-they said they only have 1 system & it had already been changed over to heat. they did provide a small room fan which helped somewhat. found ants on the floor-they did spray when advised. room much smaller than it appears in photos.

Pros: Everything was excellent. no carpets in the room which makes it cleaner and , in my case, did not give me any breathing allergies. the location is perfect, only five minutes away in a walking distance from las ramblas and plaza de catalunya. the nearest tube station is only five minutes away as well. it is also located close to shops, restaurants and markets. easy access from barcelona airport. staff is friendly and helpful. price is very affordable considering the location. i definitely recommend a stay at this hotel.

Pros: Hotel located on a central area, close to 2 main metro station; catalanya and universitad. also very close to la rambla. the hotel very clean, nice staff. if you book the your whole stay, you get a cheaper price for the breakfast. breakfast is ver nice.

Cons: There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and although this sounds not important, i have stayed in barcelona 3 times both previous occasions were in 3* hotels an both of those had these facilities and just made your time in the hotel room nicer. in the 'room facilities' on the web page it said that there was a safe but there was not.

Cons: My key never worked. every time i got back to the hotel, i went to my room to find that the key didn't work, and had to return to the reception to get a new one. obviously you're not allowed to keep the key near any other creditcards or cellphone - but that is very difficult!
