The Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art is only a five-minute walk away down the side streets by the hotel; reception staff can provide simple directions. The Inglaterra is located one block from Plaza Catalunya, two blocks from Las Ramblas and 250 meters from the Gothic Quarter.
The nearest metro stations are Universitat and Plaza Catalunya. El Triangle shopping center is opposite to the hotel.
How to reach the Inglaterra?- by bus: take the airport shuttle Aerobus to Plaza Catalunya. It is an easy walk from there to the hotel as it is based just one block away.
- by train: take the RENFE train to Sants station. Once there interchange to the underground's L3 line towards Canyelles and get off in Plaza Catalunya.

The location was perfect, about 3minutes from la rambla. the rooms were lovely ours had a balcony and a great view of the street. would stay there again!Anonymous

Inglaterra was very clean and so conveniently located. rooms were clean and furnished nicely, and we got a free upgrade to a superior room.Internet access was rather expensive, this should be provided for free.Powell

The front desk staff were fabulous. very helpful and friendly. the location is great, especially for access to catalunya, the metro, tour buses and the airport bus. proximity to the university and la ramblas also made it ideal.The map on how to actually find the hotel should be clearer.Blount

The entire stay was exceptional! the staff was knowledgeable and courteous. they really went the extra mile. great customer service. we will definetly be back.The room was a little bit expensive but the staff and location helped to made up for that.Blackburn

Place was spotless.location to ramblas, metro etc ideal.our room was at the back of hotel so was very quiet at night and morning , which is what we requested. would recommend the hotelThe 15 euro on line for breakfast is a rip off with the price of the hotel. but when we arrived we were offered breakfast for 9 euro which we tried and was certainly value for money.Lamb

When we arrived the front desk gave us the option to upgrade to a suite for only 10euros more. it was a bargain and well worth it. what a beautiful room! breakfast was great.The suite we stayed in was on the first floor so we could hear noises from the street. and at 5am someone was shouting in the lobby downstairs and we could hear them.
