City Center Barcelona

Barcelona, with 1,605,602 inhabitants as of 2006, is the second-biggest urban center in Spain. It is the capital of the Spanish province of Catalonia, located in the north of the country. Barcelona is the most commercially prosperous city in Spain, with one of the biggest ports on the Mediterranean Sea. Tourists come to Barcelona for its historical significance and for its reputation as a center of art and culture.
