Hotel is not very far from activity in barcelona although other hotels in proximity with la rambla would be better choice for me. staff was friendly and room spacious and v clean.
Rate was bit high as other nearer hotels to activity are more interesting.Anonymous

Yes we arrived at 1.30am to be told that they had no room, although we booked a month in advance. they phoned around other hotels for about half an hour before we had to go to another one, who were doing them a favour by having us, we then spent our precious morning being transfered back and we were only there until sunday! will comlain to you about the experieince as this ruined our mini reak. how could they give away our room that was reserved for us, it was a non refundable room and yet they sent us away!Anonymous

Staff was very helpful. centrally located and walking distance to passei de gracia. Everything on the counter of the kitchen is not free! had the impression that nuts, coffee and anything on the counter was free. turns out the coffee was the only free thing. the hotel is not clear on this! be careful. things in the fridge=you have to pay so ask about food on the counter. it may seem complimentary, but it's not and they are expensive when the hotel charges. Helpful staff and easy access to city. while being outside the hastle and bustle of teh centre, a short walk led to interesting bars and restaurants that were reasonably priced and of good quality.mark walker

The staff were very friendly and helped us with directions and any essential spanish phrases. they also recommended a brilliant restaurant right across the street that we were giving a free glass of champagne if we said we were from the hotel! the room was lovely and spacious, especially the bathroom, and we didn't actually use the kitchen but there was a hob and fridge. breakfast was included and had an excellent selection of cereal, hot food, breads, pastries and meats. all in all we thought it was a brilliant hotel!We didn't get a balcony and were sure this was advertised on the site.Anonymous

The hotel is lovely. the staff was incredibly helpful and was forgiving of my mediocre conversational spanish. they helped a great deal with planning our days and choosing activities.We did have ants in our room, but they came and sprayed immediately after we told them about the problem.Moorcroft Jennifer

Hotel in nice area, close to station. very clean & modern. very good value for money. hotel staff very pleasant & helpfulIn the reviews we viewed prior to booking, many guests said that the stated slippers & bathrobes were not provided, but had to be asked for. on arrival there were no slippers or bathrobes in the room and when we requested these were told that they would provide them the next day as there was no-one in housekeeping? we were out of the room all day and didn't retrun back to the hotel until late at night. the slippers & robes had still not been provided. we were leaving the next morning. it is obvious from other reviews that this is standard practice in this hotel. maybe they should not offer these items as being suplied in the future?Anonymous
