Pros: Staff was the best. from the front desk, kitchen and housekeeping. i could not ask for nicer and more helpful staff. we loved the location and proximity to local life as well as easy to access transportion to tourist sites. even though we had a rental car we did walk to many areas for the feel of the city. the ramlas was only a 30 minute leisurely walk and 7 euros in taxie back to hotel. would stay here again. thank you everyone from moncia, pablo, sierra, felica and all the staff for making our stay so pleasant

Pros: The reception staff were very friendly and eager to help us plan our visit to barcelona. we were each offered a glass of champagne on arrival and immediately given a very good map of the city on which they highlighted the hotel, nearest metro stations, local streets with restaurants and the main tourist attractions. you could also use their internet for free on the computers in reception. we asked for extra pillows on our way out to dinner on the first night and they were ready for us on our return. i would say the service was excellent, much better than some places we've been to, and they spoke very good english too. the breakfast buffet was very good and included anything you could possibly want, apart from mushrooms which were absent for some reason.
Cons: Not really, the only slight issues i would raise is that the shower curtain in our bathroom didn't stop the floor getting wet, and the bed was a bit hard too, but not enough to cause real discomfort. also, their directions back to the airport on our last day were a bit misleading, as we went to catalunya on their advice expecting to get the train and couldn't find the connection. this meant we had to go back to provenca and pick up line 3 to passeige, which wasted about 45 minutes of our time. but maybe they thought we would be getting the bus from there, which is probably better anyway as airport trains are less frequent at weekends.

Pros: Storage of our luggage prior to room check-in was very helpful. good directions and assistance with a taxi to the airport the next day.

Pros: The hotel, the room, the breakfast were excellent! the hotac location was well great, a minute walk from the metro station. the hotel staff were very polite and very helpful to everything. i have every intension of coming back and stay at the same hotel! overall my experience was exceptional!

Pros: Stayed with my wife for 5 nights april 2011. this hotel is in a superb location near an underground station which makes it possible to get anywhere in barcelona very quickly, yet has loads of restaurants bars, market, shops, bakery nearby.
the apartment room gave us loads of flexibility with the kitchenette you can make you own picnics to take out & have your own cool beers. we were on the top floor and the balcony was brilliant during the sunny april weather we experienced.
include breakfast if you can, there was a great selection and its available till 10.30, so if you fancy a run up to parc gruell before brekkie, this is recommended!
i would stay there again!
Cons: There were minor issues that did not stop our enjoyment, some noisy plumbing, but luckily only induced by our loo flushing, and a power cut to our room when cooking. i suspect most people don't actually cook,we decided to for one meal on the balcony. the staff were quickly on the scene - all the staff were very friendly and helpful, some with limited english, but that sort of adds to the fun.

Pros: Great location, we like walking so the distance from the hotel to passage de garcia centre was nothing for us, however it was only 10 mins anyway. the breakfasts were excellent, the hotel was very clean and the staff could not have been more helpfull. we will be going back and would recommend the hotel to most people.
Cons: Im afraid that the big let down were the room walls, they are very thin and noises can be heard from every direction quite clearly, hopefully this will be put right. one more thing, wifi access was limited because there were so many problems with the server, for business people this would be a deterant.
