Pros: Small, but clean room. excellent location of the hotel

Pros: Nice place to stay if you are aiming for a fairly priced hotel with good public transport connections. more quiet than hotels closer to the centre. our room was pretty small, with no proper daylight, but who spends time in the hotel room when barcelona is outside?
Cons: Our window opened to a little areaway what was sometimes full with smoke. i assume the smoke was coming from other customers smoking in their room blowing the smoke to this areaway. (as the hotel is non smoking)

Pros: Good location in quiet area right next to avinguda parallel and close walk to camp nou
Cons: The room was a little hot and sound proffing wasn't the best. we were just above reception and the restaurant area so could constantly here people walking up and down but a minor grievance really.

Pros: The reception staff spoke excellent english and were helpful.
Cons: The smell from the bathroom was of sewerage. beware of getting laundry done, a bag of laundry for us was priced at 80 euros.

Pros: The location is ideal for those who want to relax in a quiet place without the hustle and bustle of the city and yet within the reach of the city´s attractions.
Cons: The shower door is not properly done that the water keeps dripping into the floor.

Pros: There was no hassle. whilst it is no right in the middle of the action, for the room rate, i think it is great value for money. also, i do not mind a short (20min) walk to things. the reception was very helpful.

Pros: They gave us a larger room when we asked for one. the larger room was very cofortable, with large double queen size bed and plenty space. chalk and cheese compared to the first roon we were put in. barcelon is an expencive city so i suppose this hotel offers reasonably good value for money as long as you get one of the rooms at the front of the hotel. its about 10min walk from sants rail station and 5 mins from the nearest metro. its 7 min walk to placa de espania, so its well positioned for any travel around the city

Pros: Although my vacaction with my girlfriend was excellent, i am objective when i say this is a great hotel. we originally considerred going to a hostel to save money, and then we found this hotel which seemed fairly cheap and doesn't have an "s" in its name. the lobby was impressive, the rooms, while small, were top notch, clean, and well equipped. i would rate this hotel 4 stars instead of 3, without a doubt. the staff were incredibly helpful with everything i asked for including taxis, help navigating, storing luggage, etc.
this nh is one of those "sure thing" hotels. don't think twice, if the price is as cheap as other places, book this one.

Pros: Very clean hotel, well equipped, very friendly staff, delightful breakfast and restaurant. an extremely pleasant stay. would use again.
Cons: Had requested parking when booking, received no reply and was informed on arrival that all parking was full. required me to park my vehicle containing many thousands of pounds worth of equipment many streets away.
