Apartment had excellent facilities and terrific central location. very good value for money and a much better choice than a hotel. paid extra for the welcome food pack, which was well worth it. 
Booked a two room apartment for two couples, and got one double room with an extra single bed in, and one single room - so much for a romantic city break!! Fletcher

We stayed in pau claris 4 which is 2 blocks away from plaza catalunya and la rambla. this apartment is a cool introduction to the city as it has a rooftop balcony where you can see the hustle and bustle of the city below yet the noise is subdued. it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a huge operational kitchen and combo living and dining room. we recommend this apartment to all especially first time to barcelona travellers, families or groups needing a spacious place to stay! To enter the elevator/lift, you have to trudge your luggages and climb a 5 to 7 steps stairs. it would have been easier for us if they installed a ramp to the elevator. one small cockroach was seen on the shower tub one time.Anonymous

A very nice 3 bedroom apt, central in barcelona, clean and well-equipped, very quiet at night (though construction was going on in the daytime, it didn't bother us as we were out). much more attractive than we expected!Terrible beds! though no worse than the 3-star hotel in valencia. what is it with spain and the terrible beds? a good mattress is a good investment. also, i was charged the wrong price (a much higher one) on my visa; it was immediately reversed but i had to pay nearly $30 for the two exchanges by my credit card company (for converting euros to dollars, on the unnecessary transaction). pretty unhappy with that.Andrews

We were expecting a 2 bed apartment but instead got a huge 3 beds, 2 baths place with a huge balcony, lounge and dining area. and when the hotel info said fully equipped, it certainly meant just that. our apartment was only 10 mins walk from sagrada and 15 mins walk from ramblas making it an ideal location for everything (except maybe the beach, but buses are frequent and the bus routes are easy to follow). i was very impressed with how easy it was to book this fab place online and i found picking up the keys from the office very simple and efficient. the staff at the main office were very friendly as were the residents of the block we stayed in. it was a perfect place for me and my girlfriends to stay for my 30th weekender. it would be ideal for families wishing to stay for longer too given it has everything you could possibly think of. i would definitely use old town again.My friends stayed in the back bedrooms which were quite hot apparently - although fans had been left in both rooms. one thing we did all note was that the walls were relatively thin. when someone upstairs used a bathroom it sounded as though they were in our apartment. however, it was not so bad that it would stop me from booking with them again. but maybe the fact i had the swanky double room with doors to the balcony/patio sways my decision. it certainly wouldn't be a problem for anyone that rises by 9am anyway.Anonymous

Very impressed with the cleanliness of the apartment and the helpfulness of the staff. good location. much more space to move around in than a hotel room and the option to keep things a little cheaper as we could prepare some of our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. would definitely consider an appartment over a hotel in future when having a weekend away with friends. perfect !!Deacon

The apartment was located in a very convenient location close to the shops, sagrada familia and transport routes. the apartment was clean and well equipped with a good view of the sagrada familia. Our only complaint would be that some of the towels smelt mouldy/unclean.Anonymous

Excellent location, easy access to city center, staff are helpful, facilities requested and needed in the apartment are provided. i would use old town apartment again in future and will highly recommend it to friends and colleagues. in general we enjoyed our stay.The air condition was leaking on the first day but it was urgently sorted. lodgers are assured that they are happy with their stay in the apartment.Ellis

Apartment exceeded expectations, roomy, well furnished, quiet, secure, spotlessly clean,all facilities.Could have done with more air conditioning, there was only one unit for a very large apartment. the description on the web site led you to believe it was closer to the centre than it actually was. it was a long walk to get to the tube or the ramblas.Anonymous

Well-laid out floor plan, well-stocked kitchen and supplies, and closeness to points of interest were all praiseworthy.Lock of door was very hard to work and directions for washing machine were confusing.
