Great location, good directions and easy to use
We stayed in an apartment that was tired, it needed decorating its a shame as it could have been really nice, i booked the apartment for me my wife and our friends and i was a little embarrassed at the tiredness of the decoration, in the second bedroom when you opened the door it hit the bedAnonymous

Location was great and beds comfortable.The clothes washer did not work properly. all 4 occupants suffered from something in air when air conditioning was on and didn't sleep well as a result. information about area was not complete or accurate for area and surrounding amenities.Anonymous

The apartment was new, very clean, and well furnished with plenty of room for 4 people.Information was lacking that we first needed to check in at the address listed, but then we needed to travel many blocks away to the actual residence (this placed us away for where we thought we would be staying as documented in the website).
also, we almost missed the representative to check in - luckily, he stayed late (after 6pm). this should be clearly documented for people with late flights.McCulla

Although the location was not so close for walking to las ramblas, the apartment was right next to a metro stop, two stops from plaza de catalunya. the apartment was very nice and spacious.Anonymous

Apartment had excellent facilities and terrific central location. very good value for money and a much better choice than a hotel. paid extra for the welcome food pack, which was well worth it. Booked a two room apartment for two couples, and got one double room with an extra single bed in, and one single room - so much for a romantic city break!! Fletcher

We stayed in pau claris 4 which is 2 blocks away from plaza catalunya and la rambla. this apartment is a cool introduction to the city as it has a rooftop balcony where you can see the hustle and bustle of the city below yet the noise is subdued. it has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms plus a huge operational kitchen and combo living and dining room. we recommend this apartment to all especially first time to barcelona travellers, families or groups needing a spacious place to stay! To enter the elevator/lift, you have to trudge your luggages and climb a 5 to 7 steps stairs. it would have been easier for us if they installed a ramp to the elevator. one small cockroach was seen on the shower tub one time.Anonymous

A very nice 3 bedroom apt, central in barcelona, clean and well-equipped, very quiet at night (though construction was going on in the daytime, it didn't bother us as we were out). much more attractive than we expected!Terrible beds! though no worse than the 3-star hotel in valencia. what is it with spain and the terrible beds? a good mattress is a good investment. also, i was charged the wrong price (a much higher one) on my visa; it was immediately reversed but i had to pay nearly $30 for the two exchanges by my credit card company (for converting euros to dollars, on the unnecessary transaction). pretty unhappy with that.Andrews

We were expecting a 2 bed apartment but instead got a huge 3 beds, 2 baths place with a huge balcony, lounge and dining area. and when the hotel info said fully equipped, it certainly meant just that. our apartment was only 10 mins walk from sagrada and 15 mins walk from ramblas making it an ideal location for everything (except maybe the beach, but buses are frequent and the bus routes are easy to follow). i was very impressed with how easy it was to book this fab place online and i found picking up the keys from the office very simple and efficient. the staff at the main office were very friendly as were the residents of the block we stayed in. it was a perfect place for me and my girlfriends to stay for my 30th weekender. it would be ideal for families wishing to stay for longer too given it has everything you could possibly think of. i would definitely use old town again.My friends stayed in the back bedrooms which were quite hot apparently - although fans had been left in both rooms. one thing we did all note was that the walls were relatively thin. when someone upstairs used a bathroom it sounded as though they were in our apartment. however, it was not so bad that it would stop me from booking with them again. but maybe the fact i had the swanky double room with doors to the balcony/patio sways my decision. it certainly wouldn't be a problem for anyone that rises by 9am anyway.
