"Great location"

Pros: Great location. away from over touristy area of la ramblas but still in the heart of city. nice balcony.
Cons: Did not have working ac and not responsive to inquiries about it. told us they would "have someone look at it" but never heard anything about it after that. do not mind in place doesn't have ac, just do not advertise it as a fan would have kept us perfectly cool. somewhat pricey.

"It is very convenient that the hotel is located a few meters from an..."

Pros: It is very convenient that the hotel is located a few meters from an entrance to a metro station and bus stops because this saves time. an access from my room (8th floor) to a terasse was a pleasant surprise. in the evenings views from the terasse were very interesting. for guests travelling without a laptop there is a free access to a computer and the internet in the reception hall.
Cons: Some facilities in the bathroom should be renovated, for example, the bathtub with shower and the toilet seat.

Cons: Needed to use internet but was "kicked out" of the lobby at 11 pm. one person told us it was open 24 hours. why not 24 hours?

Pros: Spent very little time in the hotel & didn't use any of the facilities but staff were polite & helpful & the room was cleaned daily. the hotel was in an excellent location & was very cheap. would definately stay there again
Cons: The walls in the room were very thin,we could hear every word being said next door even though they weren't noisy. there's only a small lift so we had to use the stairs everytime. a hair dryer & kettle would have been nice tho not essential

Cons: Toilet and bidet stood loose on the floor. the paint in the bathroom was peeling off badly. room was very noisy. clerk good not handle our visa card so we had to come up with cash. cost for three local telephone calls were overpriced. breakfast was minimal. no way of printing our boarding passes. the room in our opinion is overpriced. would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Cons: I read good reviews about the hotel and it was not far from the place where my workshop was held. price was also acceptable. i arrived at the hotel late at night. i was given a room that was set aside. the walls in the room were cracked. bath is also cracked. only 1 lamp worked at room. hot water in the shower was absent. hot water was absent in the morning too. all night i could not sleep because something was pounding on the roof or in the ventilation system. morning i paid for 1 night and changed the hotel.

Cons: Bit noisy. espacially in front due to works on the metro. you have to shower in the bathtub and there is no possibility to put the showerhead up.

Cannot fault the excellent location

Paseo de Gracia Hotel has a superb situation, in the heart of Barcelona, next to Gaudí's La Pedrera and of the Avda. Diagonal. In the middle of the ‘Modernist Route’, this small, basic hotel is centrally located in the commercial and business area of Barcelona. The hotel has access with a great amount of metro lines, buses, the train and the bus turístic.

Offering single, double and triple rooms, the Hotel Paseo de Gracia is well positioned for exploring the sights of Barcelona, including the many examples of Modernist architecture. The atmosphere is familiar and servicial and the best thing of the hotel is the terrace with views of the city.

Hotel Paseo de Gracia offers rooms that are continuously renovated to provide the most comfort and up-to-date facilities. The rooms are spacious and bright, and some of them enjoy views of La Pedrera or Paseo de Gracia.
