 "Great Location & Budget Price"
Very basic but well located hostel. No heating in the room so you may need to be prepared for the cold during winter. The place is run down and needs a major renovation but it is suitable for budget travelers looking to stay in the heart of the gothic precinct.

 "Excellent location, good value hotel but a few mishaps. read below"
there was no AC in the room, and for a country such as Spain where it was 21 degrees in June 2012 this wasn't helpful. The first fan we had broke, and the second fan we asked for was very noisy and half broken. However the room is very clean and so was the ensuite.recommended:)

 "Good place to stay"
If you want to be close (walking distance) to the beach, the bars, the night clubs and the shops, this pension is 5 mins from everything. No luxury but a clean room and smiling staff.

 "the pictures don't tell the story"
the rooms don't look in any way as they look on the pictures. The rooms are older than they look on the pictures and smaller. A lot of noise outside made it hard to sleep well. The old metal bed didn't add much comfort to a good night rest.The room and bathroom was clean and the staff was friendly. If you want to be close to the cocktailbars the location is good.The price is a bit to expensive for the quality you get.

Pros: The primary innkeeper was quite kind and very thorough in his explanation of barcelona. i also was very appreciative of the effort the cleaning staff made to keep my little spot tidy. i very much enjoyed my stay there.

Cons: Rooms were nothing like in pictures. bed was squeaking alot and hostel staff broke window from our room, they didnt inform us at all about broken glass, they just pulled curtain over the broken window

Pros: The room and shared bathrooms were nice and clean, shared bathrooms always available, which means they had these enough. hotel staff was very friendly and kind. location and value for money was really excellent. it was quiet at nights.
Cons: I really can not complain about anything, considering the money i paid.
