Location is the best part about this hotel it is located about half way up 'las ramblas' on the gothic side.
We booked a 'high tech' room and didn't get what we booked, there wasn't a trouser press or a static bike as discribed on the internet at the time of booking. on check out they wanted me to pay the internet booking price even though they aggreed that i didn't get the room i booked. after a bit of lost in translation the hotel manager reduced the amount we had to pay, but i still think we over paid. given it was a very busy weekend in barcelona i think i was lucky to get that reduction.Anonymous

We liked the location of the hotel and the "high tech" stuff was cool. so was the courtyard. The hotel is in some disrepair, and the double bed was just two twins pushed together which meant if you usually sleep in the middle, you were going to fall through. Anonymous

Staff were very helpful.location was 50m to metro so perfect for getting about when trying to see the city in a weekend.Rooms were a bit on the small side and they had a bit of a worn feel to them.few small things missing from room that would normally be a given in 4star hotel like a glass in bathroom & shower robes.lambie

Location very goodFirst room given toilet seat broken and my young daughter fell off. bathroom door was not able to close as was hanginmg off at hinges. pretty poor service i would think for any star rating! when reported at reception no opologies offered but was given a different room with toilet intact and toilet door on but filthy filthy rug under bed that had more stains than i could count.Anonymous

Nice locationDespite booking a hi tech room, the bathroom was not as described. the shower was not great and leaked onto the floor (we did complain to reception). no mirrors in main bedroom, only bathroom. no staff available in bar - despite us asking where this was, the location was still not clear. overall, expensive.Anonymous

The staff was very friendly and helpful. we enjoyed the gardens for gathering with friends. Would be better if there was a mirror in the room so when another is in the shower/bath the other can be getting ready.
