large jacuzzi and sauna could havew been warmer shuttle to plaza espana was convenient. plenty of places to park safely in surrounding area. some good restaurants in shopping center within walking distance. free wifi is nice. easay to get to airport
Cons: Closest metro stop (beltvige) is hard to find. light controls are interesting, but not easy to operate. using room key card for hotel elevators is a hassle
Cons: Needs bit of re-decoration -got 2 single beds-only moved on last day to double room
Cons: Shame there wasn't a pool, but still nice to have big jacuzzi pool. only one of the sauna and steam room seemed to work each day!
2) the spa is good if you want to relax.
Cons: There were a couple of things that were negative during our stay: 1) the directions provided on the reservation form were incorrect. it stated the following: how you can get to fira congress hotel (aeropuerto)
from barcelona-el prat international airport: take the r10 renfe train to ‘bellvitge’ station. change to the l8 metro line in the direction of ‘moli nou- ciutat cooperativa’ and get off at ‘l’hopitalet – av. carillet’. from here, take the l1 line in the direction of ‘hospital de bellvitge’ and get off at ‘bellvitge’ station. the hotel is located at about 7 minutes walking from here.
these directions are completely incorrect and we ended up in the totally wrong area.
2) we chose this hotel because its away from the city centre (less noise), for three nights we have other guests making a noise until 3am. despite complaining to reception the noise continued.
3) food at the hotel is overpriced. needless to say we never at there.
Cons: Astoundingly expensive i.e. €16 for breakfast, €6 for a beer!!
Cons: The doble bed that i asked for turned out to be two single beds placed together and they made weird noises
Cons: The room did not have wifi available. shuttles could be more frequent to city center.
