i booked my father and mother for a trip to barcelona for my mums birthsay. the staff could not have been nicer to my folks for their stay. the staff looked after them very well, my mum had champagne and a cake left in her room for the first night. the weelness centre was excellent, the facilities were top grade. although a little expensive, my parents were treated like vips and really enjoyed their stay. i would have absolutely no hesitation at reecommending this hotel, which, in my estimation, is one of the finest.NoAnonymous

- definitely better than 4-star, but not deluxe hotel
- cheaper than alternatives at late notice
- well appointed room, not too far from town centre
- they left cava & cake in my room on my birthday, which was a very nice touch!- they charge eur 12 per person per day to use the pool!!! seems a bit cheeky to advertise it then charge extra.
- some way out of gothic/ramblas areas you want to be inAnonymous

We were in a club room and had access to the vip lounge area which was fantastic.Only issue we had was we requested breakfast in our room and we were charged the full breakfast amount even though we were on a bed and breakfast tarriff. normally you pay a slight charge to have your breakfast in your room but we did ont think for one minute that we would be charged the full amount of the breakfast.AM Ackerman
