The Hotel was a very clean and tidy base from which to explore Barcelona. The staff were very helpful and recommended some good eating and visiting places as well as clear directions around the city. The on-suite was more than adequate and the twin beds firm. Actually each of the twin beds was equal to a double in the UK so we slept comfortably. The Metro was very close and we used it extensively to support our son Matthew in his first attempt at a marathon which he completed successfully. A great visit and a great hotel. Four fun packed days.

 "Super place"
Paid for a superior room as we wanted a little more space. It looked just like the pictures on the website, clean, spacious. Good shower. Tasty breakfast - large variety on offer. Really appreciated the soundproofed windows - suspect it could have been quite noisy at night without. Great location for exploring Las Ramblas and the cathedral area etc. I found the bed a bit hard but my husband slept really well. Would stay here again. Friendly, helpful staff.

Lovely friendly hotel.. very clean and so local to everything.the room itself was quite noisey,due tothe next door room, hearing just about word for word in conversations and people arguing in other neigbouring rooms.. it didn't spoil our visit or our stay.

Absolutely great Hotel, amazing location. 2 minutes walk to La Ramblas, but in a quiet parallel street. Much better and bigger rooms than my expectation. Complete air condition control, working silent, bathroom bigger than one at home. Renovated, clean and new interiors, good lighting. Good TV.if it had a fridge/minibar, it sureley would be a 4-star hotel. But no problem, reception floor has several wending machines that serves water, beer and even coffee and snacks.Also there are two supermarkets in the same street.Definitely recommend this great hotel. Would stay there again for sure. If you are planning to settle all near to old city, La Rambla, Plaça de Catalunya and harbour, look no further, this is your hotel with walking distance to all.

Pros: Good wi-fi. good services,
Cons: The room was not at all sound-proof and it was very small with no natural light. i was very negatively impressed with the fact that the receptionist asked me to pay the whole bill, right after my arrival, before seeing the room!!!!

Cons: We were to women and used our balcony in the evening, where we had sunny weather. but we needed better chairs and a small table there. last time we had a room i the 3rd floor and now no. 416. 3rd was nicer with colour and bathroom. we got fine tea bags, but no coffee!

Cons: Luggage room is not locked. i used it and everything was ok but i would have felt more safe if they could lock it.
