How to reach the Ramblas Hotel?From Barcelona-El Prat International airport, by bus: Take the Aerobú to ‘Plaça Catalunya’. From there, take the metro (Line 3) to ‘Drassanes’, right beside the Hotel, or the No. 14 bus, stopping at ‘La Rambla – Centre d’Art Santa Mònica’, right in front of the hotel.
From Barcelona-El Prat International airport, by Train: Take a local RENFE train to ‘Sants Estació’ station. From there, catch metro Line 3 to ‘Drassanes’ "LICEO"station, which is right beside the hotel.
By taxi: From the airport cost 25 Euros approximately.

The location of this hotel was brilliant and there was always plenty to eat at breakfast.The reception staff were moody and huffed every time you needed to ask them something. after booking a room with a ramblas view i was given a room with a view of a filthy block of flats, it was like looking out on a war torn country, we had asked for a view of ramblas as it was my 30th birthday and it was a treat from my partner so this was very disappointing for us. the room resembled a paupers bed sit in a crack den, it was beyond basic and the walls were dirty and marked. it looked like someone had tried to scratch there way out!Anonymous

It was very central and staff were friendly. No lift down to breakfast room. toaster didn't work / finished early. tea/coffee and juices were all in one corner, this should be divided to two corners because everybody gathered there and caused congestion.
only two lifts, and they seemed to be out of order a lot / or maintenance at busy times.Anonymous

Very helpful at reception, answering our numerous queries about local facilities and location of landmarks. rooms clean and quiet. good choice at buffet breakfast. hope to stay at hotel again in the future.Anonymous

The location was superb and i believe that is what we paid for.It was not properly air conditioned in the room, more of an air blower which was very noisy. the decor was very outdated in the bedroom. the bathroom was a little betterAnonymous

Perfect location for exploring. we had a room facing la ramblas, so be prepared for it to be noisy.but we still slept.The only negative thing was the bar man who was really rude, however the receptionist were excellent, extremely helpful and politeAnonymous

Great location during the day. unfortunately people party until 4 or 5 am and it is very noisy.Rooms are very old. not updated and for the cost and after finally getting to barcelona we were disappointed. my wife described the hotel to her sister as "nasty".Anonymous

we had a room which was internal to the building and fund it to be very quiet and not subject to disturbance from the street at all.
we felt very safe in the hotel. we were made to feel very welcome at our arrival and every time we returned.The breakfasts were adequate but were let down a little by details such as no fresh juice or good quality bread and fruit.Pritty

The location.Yes. one lift was not working the day we arrived and the other lift was also spoilt on the day we left. as such me and me wife had to carry down our luggage from the 8th floor. the guy managing the reception area was no help at all. so i am disappointed
