 "things to improve..."
This is a business hotel, everything is there to have your stay with all the basics, internet, fax, multilingual staff etc.Rooms and bed are excellent, internet is fast in the rooms but expensive ! Internet should be free nowadays...Shuttle available from the hotel to the airport, can be crowded and you will have to take the next one, better to check for a taxi at the station next to the hotel if you are in a hurry (20 € for T1)At the time of our stay we were not impressed by the "restaurant", pictures on the website are not reflecting the situation, we had to eat at the bar a very expensive burger (18 euros) and very average. Restaurant was closed... Forget a good dinner...Probably the closest hotel to the airport (10mn drive)Far away from the city center, 15 mn taxi to placa Catalonia (25 €) risky if traffic... Nothing to do around the hotel.This hotel is good if you have an early flight or want to be close to the airport.

 "Not what I was expecting from Renaissance Hotel"
Free shuttle to downtown - only one at 10am and 5pm - if the shuttle is full you need to look for your own transportation. There is couple more shuttles but it costs 5 Euros one way.Slow service - we had to wait for the kettle and an additional bed for 2.5 hrs.Hotel was close to airport and shuttle there was free and frequent.
