How to reach the Residencia Melon District Poble Sec?From the metro stop Poble Sec, line 3 (green): Just cross the street.
The line 3 (green line): takes you directly to the Camp Nou Stadium, Las Ramblas, Catalunya Plaza or Barcelona University.
From Barcelona-El Prat International airport, by bus: Take the Airbus in front the airport terminals (every 8 minutes from 5.30 to 24 hrs) and get off at the ‘Plaza de España’ stop. Then take metro line 3 (green) in the direction ‘Canyelles’ and get off on 'Poble Sec'. From there you just cross the street. Or you can take line 10 (Cercanías) to ‘Sants Estació’ station (approximately 30 minutes). Change to metro line 3 (green) in the direction ‘Canyelles’ and get off in 'Poble Sec'. From there you just cross the street. Line 10 timetable, every 30-minutes from the airport from 6:00 am to 11:44 pm.
From the main train station (Estacion de Sants): Take metro line 3 (green), direction ‘Canyelles’ and get off in 'Poble Sec'. From there you just cross the street.
From France Station (Estacion de França): Take bus number 64 in ‘Pla de Palau’, direction ‘Pedralbes’. Get off at 'Parallel'. From there you just cross the street.
From the main bus stop (Estacion del Nord): Take metro line 1 (red) to Catalunya. Change here to metro line 3 (green), direction ‘Zona Universitaria’ and get off in 'Poble Sec'. From there you just cross the street.
From the ferry: Walk to metro station 'Drassanes', and take metro line 3 (green) to 'Poble Sec'. The hotel is within walking distance from there as you just need to cross the street.

Very well located, near the historic centre and easy to reach from any part due to the subway and public transport. we've meet all the city just walking or in public transport
It's a student residence and those rules apply to all the guest. they don't have cleaning service. for us it didn't make any difference, we've just been a couple of days, but other tourists may not accept it so wellAnonymous

Effeciency like a dorm room. plenty of shelf space but not much for anything else. Was told to clean towels during stay in their laundry room, which was not free to use. Verdyk

The hotel is great located. is very suitable for young couples or singles, the price is fair, hotel staff is very kind and well english speakers. it's a very good place for non spoiled travelers who prefer making their own meals and start their trip in the city. the security is very good also. general impression: very good. the staff were friendly and helpful.The rooms are only cleaned once a week.

Basically you get what you pay for. it is comfortable, clean and the decor is simple yet effective. the staff was really great and helpful.The picture on the website on the bathroom is not what we got. it was not a big issue, but the bathroom was really small. also, the website says that it is very close to la ramblas. yes, you can walk, but it's not so close. again, not a problem, but would rather not create the expectation that it is really close. the aircon in our room did not work.Vicki lewis

I was told on arrival that i did not have a reservation, after some time and a couple of phone calls by the receptionist it was revealed that the room had been booked for august not july by their reservation department.
