 "Only one word - EXCELLENT"
My wife and I cannot fault Room Mate Emma in Barcelona in ANY way whatsoever. Everything about our stay was perfect ... the hotel itself was so 'swish' and contemporary, clean, very good breakfast etc. - and the staff were SO friendly and helpful. The location was about a 20-minute stroll down to the Place Catalunya square and the start of the Ramblas ... to the Sagrada Familia was, again, a 20-minute stroll.The booking through easytobook.com was, indeed, very easy - the value was very good too. Barcelona, we thought, was a wonderful city to spend 5 days - I would like to think that we might visit there again, and, if so, I would have NO hesitation at checking in at Room Mate Emma again. EXCELLENT! SUPERB! AMAZING!

 "New year"
Nice hotel located well for a citytrip in barcelona. Close to metro and walking distance to city centre. Nice breakfast for about 7 euros. Only bad thing was the street noise. We paid 10 euros per night extra for a window but the street noise was loud. Ear plugs luckily helped. Ask for tapones at the drug store or bring them from home! Very helpful people at reception and breakfast.

 "Great location and nice small hotel"
We discovered this hotel through a write up I the Daily Telegraph newspaper which listed it as one of Barcelonas best boutique hotels. It was all that was promised. A good location, within easy walking distance to sights, restaurants, transport and tours. The hotel is in a difficult building but has been imaginatively designed to provide compact but well appointed rooms. The decor adds interest and makes it modern and fresh. Breakfast is a good option as it has choice and is inexpensive.

Pros: The staff were fantastic, very helpful and polite. the breakfast is brilliant value - great variety and tremendous value for money. very clean, lovely room and we would certainly use the hotel again!
