Our stay at the Silken Gran Havana was quite good. the room was spacious and immaculately clean. We did find it misleading that we had internet access but no email access included with the price of the room. A hotel of this quality should not be nickle and diming us or sending us around the corner to a coffee shop so we can access email.I was disappointed that there was no decaf coffee (Nescafe) in our room. When I asked at the front desk I was told that we would have to purchase decaf coffee in the coffee shop. Our first morning we just went out for breakfast. However at 6:30 AM on our second morning when I went to get my coffee the hotel coffee shop was closed. That is when I complained to the front desk manager and he went into the kitchen and brought me a coffee packet. These two minor hiccups can easily be remedied by the hotel. All else was spectacular, from location to accomodations.

Cons: Internet connection very bad. kept getting cut off. only one person could use it a time. after one hour i got cut off. i work when i am away and was told there was wi-fi and it was for free.
hotel should modernize this. today more than one person travel with computer or ipad.

Pros: Reception staff very helpful in all aspects including reccommending and booking restaurants, contacting airport during airline cancellations due to volcanic ash, sorting accomodations for additional nights.

Pros: I would definitely stay in the havana again, it was a central hotel, reasonably priced and staff were very helpful.
Cons: The only issue we had was we were given 2 keys to our room but only 1 worked, despite staff trying to help solve our problem.

Pros: Very nice, enjoyed our stay, i think it is geared towards business people .......ten minute walk to la ramblas.
Cons: there was a lot of nosie....we stay in the front of the hotel i think if you stayed to the back of the hotel it would have been quiter, in saying this it did quite down by 11pm. also it feels like the the metro runs under it.

Cons: The name over the hotel entrance is different to that on all publicity and the garage one is different again. this makes it difficult to realise it is the right hotel. nowhere is the word "silken". price of garage is €22 per night which we were not expecting.
