The hotel is a new building located in one of the most important business and shopping areas in Barcelona (Diagonal-Plaza Francesc Macià). It is close to the Fair (Plaza España), the Congress Center (Palau de Congressos de Catalunya), the railway station (Sants Estació) and the Ramblas can be reached in 20 minutes.
It is perfectly connected with the principal motorways and the airport. Some interesting places around it are the Pedralbes Palace and the Thyssen Museum. This modern hotel is in one of the main commercial areas of Barcelona: Avinguda Diagonal and Eixample.
How to reach the Sunotel Junior?Near bus stops: 15, 27, 32 buses
Underground: Hospital Clinic - L5
From the airport by car: go along Autovia Castelldefels and Gran Via Corts Catalanes, go through España Square, go straight on until you get to Comte Urgell Street and turn on the left, go up this street and it’s on the corner the Sarriá Avenue.
From TARRAGONA-LÉRIDA-MADRID by car: go along A-2 Motorway and Diagonal Avenue, turn right into Numancia Street, go down this street and turn left into Berlin Street, go straight on until you get to Paris Street and go along this street. It’s on the corner the Sarriá Avenue.
By public transport: Take the train to Sants Railway station or take the airport bus and get off at the stop in the train station (Sants Estació). From the train station you can take Metro line 5 to the Hospital Clínico stop. Alternatively, you can take bus number 32 and get off at the stop at Buenos Aires.
By boat:
The harbour of Barcelona is near the Drassanes underground stop with connections to the railway station stop Sants estació. Once at the station switch to the underground line 5 until the Hospital clínic stop, very close to the hotel.

Clean, modern room with good range of toiletries in bathroom. convenient location for easy metro access to other regions of the city (and within walking distance of many attractions). wonderful bakery / coffee shop almost next door which was great for breakfast (booking was room only)and the perfect spot to watch the world go by.The girl on reception when we arrived could have been more welcoming to say the least but other staff were fine. the busy road to the front of the hotel was extremely noisy at night and this made sleeping problematic whether the window was open (no air conditioning) or closed. because of the noise we are not sure about returning / recommending it but it was reasonably priced for its location and that is a major consideration.Anonymous

Friendly staff, only 2 star but rooms were above expectation, close to lots of restaurants and supermarkets, breakfast lovely.Traffic noise as on main road and near to hospital so ambulances going past constantly. air con was not working on 5th floor during stay so one of our party was a little uncomfortablecole

Clean room, friendly helpful staff, good value for money.Our room was next to the lift which made a very loud mechanical whurring noise every time the lift was used. this was especially disturbing early in the morning. we weren't happy at all, but spoke to the receptionists who were very helpful and we moved rooms as soon as we could. Friendly staff, comfortable and clean on-suite room. within walking distance of two tourist bus routes, which take you around barcelona. Some rooms have a bath, others have a shower. both are advertised as on-suite with no differentiation. also room 43 was at the front of the building, with traffic noise being quite loud. i initially thought the window was open?!Tiina Erik

Basic hotel, have internet, metro is near, and although it is not in the tourist center, it has some nice, tasty, and not so expensive restaurant near the hotel. comfortable table & chair to be able to sit and work too.It took me 2 days to figure out how to operate the air conditioner (just call reception and ask them to operate it from there). in barcelona all the hotels are so expensive, amazing, and this is just as expensive as all others, without really justifying it.
