Getting down to business of tourism, the major sites are a pleasant 15-minute walk to the centre; however public transport, numerous bus lines and Hospital Clinic metro station (line 5) are close by. In the centre see the life on Las Ramblas, the colorful Boqueria market, the Old Town and numerous architectural points of interest. For nightlife try Elephant club, its beautiful setting with outdoor seating is worth a night out.
How to reach the U232 Hotel?From Barcelona-El Prat International Airport: Take the Aerobus, departs every 15-minutes. It’s quick and comfortable and has plenty of room for baggage. The trip to the hotel is about 20-minutes. Get off at the Avenida Roma stop. You’ll be at the corner of Calle Urgell, 400 meters from the hotel.
From Barcelona-El Prat International Airport, by car: Follow the signs for “Centro Ciudad” (city centre) The airport highway turns into the Gran Via once you reach the city. Simply continue straight, passing through the tunnel that crosses Plaza de España, until you reach Calle Urgell. Then make a left and continue 500 meters.
By Taxi: You can hail a taxi at the airport terminals. The cost is roughly € 20 to € 30. The trip should take about 15 to 20-minutes.
By Train/Subway: The train from the airport departs every 10-minutes, and takes 35- minutes. Get off at Sants Station, and take Line 5 of the metro (the blue line). Get off at the Hospital Clinic stop. The hotel is 60 meters away.

Well designed. clean. very kind staff. no terrace as in some pictures. far from sites bad location. overall good hotel not more. will not stay there again.wifi free.

Very modern and clean, lovely reception area. easy to find -near metro l5. helpful and friendly staff. we saved money by booking in advance. able to store luggage after check-out. no problems at all, very nice hotel.No pool or advertised 'aqua zone'. no tea / coffee making facilities in room.29 Jun 09

Good staff; they compensated for lack of sport facilities(pool/ sauna) by providing complimentary breakfast for the duration of our stay (3 days) temporary lack 0f health/sport facilities(not advertised)
no advice to watch for pick pockets on las ramblas; wallet was stolen; no signs anywhere to watch out; why does the city not post big signs everywhere to warn tourists? unlike rome where there are signs on city buses21 Jun 09

Very nice place, a bit out of the way but easy to get into town by train or cab. Housekeeping was at it a bit early in the morning so that was a little annoying, especially when the room next door was vacated. didn't really matter though because i had to get up early the day i left. 16 Jun 09

The hotel was very clean and of a good standard.The only negative was the fact that i was with a group of girls so we had two triple rooms and one double. the double was lovely with a window but the two triple rooms had no daylight so we couldn't tell what the weather was like when we woke up on a morning.10 May 09
