It is allegedy 4 star hotel, nothing 4 about about this hotel to be honest, 2 star would be fair, no kettle or tea making facilities in the room, no hair dryer in the room, the television was only pay per view, even on films from the 80s, one english channel bbc world news but the signal kept being lost. i would not stay here again for a gold clock, i would rather try hostelworld !

Pros: Our stay at this hotel could not have been better, located 3 minutes from the famous place espanya and the main metro link this location is excellent for visitors to the city. las ramblas, the main tourist area is only 5 mins and 4 stops on the metro. the hotel was clean and adequate, the local area was quite and the rooms were not enormous but more than what you need for a city break when all you need them for is sleeping. due to the location we were able to have this great quality hotel at the same price as something of a lesser quality nearer the tourist area. i can not reccommend this venue enough.

Pros: The room are very elegant like brand new with nice light control. very clean. very close to plaza espana.
Cons: The room is small, the window cant be open which made me a bit claustrophobic. hardly no facilities in the hotel and the very few that exist are charged at very very high prices.

Pros: For a 4-star hotel. the overall finish of the room -i.e fixtures and fittings were in poor condition and were pretty shoddy in terms of workmanship - rushed and no pride in the work.

Pros: We have been upgraded to a suite, it was amazing, it was a great suprise. the room was big, we had our oun veranda with our private jaccuzi.... it was briliant.
