Staff were very helpful with booking tours and car hire etc. rooms were great and the buffet breakfast was fantastic for 10 euro.
Although it is a little out of the way from the centre of barcelona, we had no problem walking to and from the train station at night. in saying this there is not much to do around the hotel area so you will have to travel into the city to sight see etc. also no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms and internet access is a little expensive.Anonymous

A bit out of the way but with tram, underground and buses so near and very regular its nice to come back to the tranquil air of the condal mar staff over excel at helping you,when the area around it gets cleaned up this hotel will be to dear to use as this is the only negative. The area around the hotel,but don't let this put you off.Anonymous

On arrival at the hotel, we were impressed by its appearance. the rooms were spacious and clean. the staff were friendlyWe were surprised by how far from las ramblas the hotel was given the description on the website. we had t psend lots of money on taxis.the lady who checked us in was confused by our booking and took quite a long time to sort it out and we were very tired and hungry.we experienced a bag snatch in the lobby within 5 minutes of arrival, which was quite un-nerving. the pool was closed when we returned from site seeing and was not heated anyway.Anonymous

The hotel accomodation was excellent, very clean, modern and comfortable. staff were very polite and helpful. The location of the hotel was located in a very run down area and not one which we felt comfortable walking back to or from at night. the hotel didn't provide any irons int he room or any that could be borrowed during the length of stay, instead an ironing service was provided which wasn't convenient. hotel services should provide these basic items. the price we paid for our three night stay also wasn't the room rates which we booked for, one night costing over 100 euros plus tax. the room rate we booked was circa 80 euros a night. this was disappointing given the location of the hotel and the requirement to take taxis to and from the hotel to the centre of barcelona at night.Anonymous

Reception staff were very helpful, sevice and restraunts were very good, rooms were comfortable To be critical shower could do with being themostatic as went from warm to scoldimg with ou warning, also the position of hotel is a little worrying walking back at night
