We had a fantastic stay at wilson hotel and would recommend this hotel to a friend! we were there for 5 days with our 6 month old son. the hotel itself is in a gorgeous old building and has been done-up to a very high standard - the interior designer had fun! our room was great, a little small but the sunny balcony over avenue diagonal more than made up for that. the location was perfect for us, some people might want to be closer to all the action down town bt eith a small baby it was great to get back to quietness each evening. the staff were really nice. friendly and helpful. the self-service dining room was a perfect place for my husband to work on his laptop (with the excellent broadband)in the afternoons while the baby and i had a nap. we met another family with small kids staying there and they also seemed happy. oh yes and the mini bar was well stocked and very reasonably priced. all in all we were very happy with the wilson boutique.The only thing i would say is that e11 for breakfast seemed steep. however we opted not to get breakfast so maybe the quality was really high and was worth it.Anonymous

Very unique furnishings. nice attention to color/texture/comfort in room. modern facility tastefully decorated. decent location in commercial area of barcelona. quiet and comfortable stay. would definitely return!Hotel was a bit far from public transportation (we have a young child) and far from the festivities of la mercé but we loved the hotel and would return.katz

The hotel is well designed, very clean and in a good and quite location. big room and extremely large showerThe air condition in our room went out of use and when we asked the staff to check it out for us on our last evening there, we were told they could only do it the next morning (they didn't) and had to open a window during the night. also, staff english is not the best.... The quality of the hotel was excellent. the staff were very helpful. subsequent to making the booking i had fractured my ankle and was in a wheelchair. the hotel gave me a wheelchair friendly room and all the facilities catered for wheelchair users.Anonymous

Day staff were polite and helpful. room was well decorated, modern and impeccably clean. a good location. Night staff, an older gentleman was rude and condescending towards us when we wanted to pay our bill early as we were leaving at 5 the next morning. he gave us the wrong room bill and then became very aggressive when we politely told him we hadn't used the mini bar. he then ripped up the paper and threw it in the bin whilst tutting and shaking his head when i mentioned we hadn't stayed in room 308 (which i had already told him). this was quite a contrast to the polite and helpful day staff. the shower / toilet cubicles weren't really appropriate for two friends travelling as they were transparent. this room is more suited to a couple or single travellers.Anonymous

The concierge sebastian was very very helpful giving us info about directions to get around barcelona. the look of the hotel is exactly as on the hotel website, very nice decor, mood lighting and the shower was so nice, i could have stayed under for ever.The only cons is that there is no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and the layouut of the bathroom in my room was too small and water leaked out under the screen.Longstaff

Towels were missing from the room but just a quick call and they were sent up.
we were late getting out of bed most mornings (!) but the room was cleaned thoroughly for us in the afternoon.
excellent curtians which blocked all the light, which made me late for work one morning!No ashtray on the balcony!
the walls are a little thin and you can hear the other guests.Anonymous
