Grand Theatre Liceu in Barcelona is an opera house, and is one of the world’s largest and best places to listen to opera, due to the fantastic acoustics. Some of the original parts of the building remain, but other parts have been rebuilt, mainly in exactly the same style as the original building but some in the style it was rebuilt in after the first fire in 1861.
This grand opera house has premièred many famous operas over the years, and is still doing so at the present time. The façade is a detailed and very pretty sight, worth looking at.
