      Barcelonas most famous street, Las Ramblas, is a central tourist destination covered in shops and entertainment features. Las Ramblas runs from Plaça Catalunya down to Port Vell, having 1.2 km (0.7 miles). On the south side you can explore the colorful Raval district, while to the north is the Gothic Quarter. You can easily walk to major attractions in any direction Picasso Museum, Barcelona Aquarium, Casa Mila, La Boqueria there is no shortage of things to see and do in the near surroundings. Las Ramblas is something of an exclusive location thanks to its prominence in the citys tourist mechanism.

      You can sample the delicatessen delights of La Boqueria, which stands on Las Ramblas. You can wander the charming cobbled streets of the Gothic Quarter, taking in Catedral La Seu and Santa Maria del Pi, gorge on tapas and pinchos at one of the many bars in El Raval or Barri Gotic. It is easy to make it up to Plaça Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia on foot, where you will be able to shop until you drop. Also on Passeig de Gracia you have the chance to discover Gaudis famous structures La Pedrera and Casa Batllo. From Las Ramblas you can also walk down to Port Vell, admiring the Columbus statue on your way there.
