Hotels in Park Guell

      Park Guell Details

Park Güell surrounds the house where Gaudi once lived, where there is an amazing museum containing Gaudi's collection of earth-inspired furniture and personal items. The major attractions of the park include walkways under and over stone pillars constructed in Gaudis signature style, and numerous mosaic tile and stone sculptures, all of which demonstrate a strong influence derived from the natural world.

As with most of the tourist spots in the city, the top of Park Güell contains a terrace where you can enjoy another spectacular view of the park and the surrounding city. In true Gaudi fashion, all of the benches are made from the same brilliant tile mosaic used in the dragon at the Parks southern entrance and also on the stone animals throughout the park. You could easily spend all day up on the terrace, sipping coffee and watching the entertainers, but the park is vast and beautiful, and there is much to explore. You can make several trips to the park without getting tired of it.
