Cornella De Llobregat Hotels and Accommodation

Cornella De Llobregat is a large and prosperous Spanish town of about 84,000 current residents. It is located in the northeast of Spain, in the autonomous community of Catalonia. It is situated around the banks of the Llobregat River, at the southwestern edge of the vast complex of suburbs whose center is the cosmopolitan metropolis of Barcelona. The town's history is thus inextricably tied up with that of Barcelona. Much of its historical role has also been defined by its position along the banks of the Llobregat, guarding entry into Barcelona by river. The town was originally just a church and tower, meant to defend Barcelona from the Saracens. Cornella De Llobregat is known for its extensive Corpus Christi celebrations.
